We are porting the TB and maf housing before hand and also putting my 170 t stat in. Car has a bad problem with pulling timing from coolant temps getting too hott. Atleast on the dyno.

Seems that way. I think its just not that big of a difference between the two to really set them totally apart from each other. Especially when the Coyote guys do Boss intake, those cams/heads alone aren't worth much.

That's exactly why if I ever decide to tinker with a 5.0 it will be a Base GT model with a spoiler delete. No body kits either.

You have off road x pipe before headers? If so not a lot gained with adding headers really. Also wheel/tire eating up few ponies and makes hard to compare numbers. So you have an airraid cai or c&l? Also what kind of timing are you running?.

Is the GT taking out to 7800 also?

Let the car cool down a bit before the trip home and clutch seems OK for now.

My very next mod will be a stronger clutch!

EDIT: Also let me add the blower was iced down before runs.

Great times Mike!

Times look dead on for the mods with all things considered. Average times for a decently driven bone-stock ZR1 on our track is 11.1-11.2x@128-130. Almost a half second reduction in et from just just tire and filter is damn impressive. As you already know, I went 10.96@130.8 bone-stock BUT that was in -576 DA and after about 15 passes. Let me know when your next track visit is and maybe we can get a few more vettes together and make a trip!

Way to represent the ZR1's.

I was told by the tuner dynoing on tall tires hurts you and drivetrain weight means nothing on his dyno. But hey id rather make 434whp and be faster then 440whp and be slower.

******* camaro sideswiped my care today on way home on the interstate. He was racing with a 350Z. . Then tried to run I was like really your running. Luckily only hit my mirror. 2013 camaro with 60 day tags. Its ok cops has his plate number and issued warrant for his arrest.
