No one bit... I went with my friend to drop his car off for some upgrades at Speed Inc Saturday. He had me more than covered... I gave it all I had and he was short shifting / casually accelerating. Haha

It would be....but eatons are not very expensive and would make enough power to blow a stock LB Mach to pieces.
Was he alright?
Would you mad if I said yes your ford needs boost? I mean **** the few n/a ford guys on here sold builds/went FI are proving us right when we say that.

Motor went back in it this weekend.....so I'm sure he will mention it's a motor swap.......he always seems to about mention that about my camaro.
That's the wisest thing you have ever said.
Put them both at the same atmosphere and watch what happens......oh that's right you tried that.....lol Didn't work for ya did it?..
Maybe you should take a look at this.

The standing mile is not really my thing. Not many changes needed to my car to make the runs however I enjoy pulling the front wheels off the ground at the drag strip more.

So I picked up a sweet deal today for the nova. I bought a set of pro stars and Mickey thompsons, and a set of AFR 220 Eliminator heads, all if it for $1000
Now, I'm stoked thinking I got a great deal! He told me they are ported, but couldn't remember the name. I'm telling you these heads are a work of art and I was NOT expecting this kind of quality. So snafu be my surprise when I flipped the head over and saw this.......

That sounds like a cool combination. If that is a SBC, that thing would have to have some serious heads, intake and a rompy cam.

239/243 - .522/.530 - 108 crower solid cam
Full boltons - Vic Jr Intake - 750 holley
AFR 220 Eliminator Heads + Steggy port
10:1 compression
T56 trans and 3:73
I think its attainable, but I may need a bigger cam, but I shift @ 6,400 so I dont want to get crazy.
Contrary to popular belief it is EASY to make ~450 through a 6sp with an SBC. Streetable and everything. Your cubes are a bit low for 220s, but they have high velocity for the port size so you should be OK.
FWIW prior owner of my Craig Gallant GTP ported AFR 220s made well over 1,000hp with them on a boosted LT1 383. Flow 330cfm @ .6 and held it all the way to .750. I milled them down a few CC's and will be running them NA, with a 25x solid roller expecting ~650hp.
The heads wil probly support 1,000hp if i could get the bottom end there lol

AFR 220s are already nasty *** heads out of the box for our shitty 23* stuff. Give them to someone who knows what they are doing and you will surprise more then a handful of LS and Mopar guys

No, sorry. I was recalling a story a friend told me about calling them to port a Lightning blower. When he asked them about it, their answer was, "WE PORT ANYTHING!".
