Well I live about 45 mins from work, and I hate the 8hr shift, 10's were great, but during the busy season, which runs from about mid October till new years we work 5 12's every week, and that blows, 630pm till 7am, so for me its 545 till almost 8, paychecks look amazing during that time though lol

The guy who started this thread posts on here too, and he apparently just got a ZR1. Could it be redfire? Or did someone actually buy a ZR1 for once???

WEll, I didn't *Technically* pay $500. I bought a 95 Silverado Z71 with a 4" lift and 36's on it with a bad trans for $500. I already had a tranny for it, so I stuck that free tranny in it and this kid contacted me and said he would trade straight across.
Its no cherry, it has a salvage title, but all the damage was repaired. Paint is ruff, ots of scratches and scuffs. But no dents, and interior is decent. One broken ground effect.
Mods are:
383 forged stroker
6 speed with centerforce clutch
3:73 rear
hooker super comp headers
unknown cam
supposedly ported heads and intake
Magnaflow catback that sounds amazing
It pulls pretty good, nothing ike the gto, but compared to the 2 other LT1 cars ive rode in its a beast lol.

Unfortunately most 383 stroker LT1s people build are dogs

In case anyone cares, which I'm sure none of you do...
The V had some pretty nasty head lift/issues and had leaked out like a quart or two of oil so the whole car started sounding. I told him to just ghetto fix and put some more oil in it, so I do have the car back.
My mission now is to try to blow this engine. I'm upping the boost from 11psi to 16-17psi and am going to start throwing a shot at it. Meantime tomorrow I'm going to shop around for a shop to build me a 427lsx with a big KB/Whipple setup or see if we can front mount a single 88/94mm turbo.
Going to end up flying a mechanic and tuner down here to get this **** done.

That's ******* crazy. That's what happens when you push the limits.
Update for me, I just ordered bigger injectors and fuel pumps. Found an E85 pump in France so I should be on the corn soon. Also found some local cars that are down to run for once.
