I guess the way I look at it is if I get a couple tunes the ones that I will be using for performance I'll be running 93 octane. I wouldn't mind getting a couple towing tunes on 87 and 93. If I get the tunes squared away I have a track day i'm going to on next saturday so it would be fun to run the truck if I get the opportunity. Gotta get my HPT setup for the truck to do some logging.

That would be awesome if it could ever be done!

Bet the trap would be over 10s or 11s too.

I actually thought it did alright considering the average looked to be around 15.5s for anything I found on the webz.
if you hold the gears to redline it makes an enormous difference. stock they shift like 300 rpm before peak hp.

Ya I bet you're right.

I put it in 4x4 + drive + all the nannies off, then mashed the gas.

I wasn't pissing with it too much, just having some fun.

No, kidding! Hitting it at 5500, doesn't guarantee that you won't bounce off the limiter at 5900!

3000lb? You mean 3,300-3,440? They don't weigh even close to 3,000.

Lingenfelter has already strapped a 1900 on it and put down 621/617 at the crank. Stock everything minus the manifold.
