DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT KNOW THE OWNER OF THE CAR, I DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO SPEAK WITH HIM. I DO NOT KNOW IF IT WAS STOCK OR NOT, IF IT WAS MANUAL OR AUTO, IF THE GUY COULD DRIVE, IF THE OWNER COULD FIND HIS WAY OUT OF A PAPER BAG.
That being said. I was headed out to get some dinner for the wife and I and came up next to a white 5.0 stang with a guy driving it prolly my age (late 20's early 30's). He threw me a glance and a quick rev, so I proceed to stall mine up a bit, light went green and we both hit. We let out about 95-100 for safetys sake with him having about a fender lead on me. He shot me another glance and an head nod o' approval and then turned into an apartment complex. I proceeded to get dinner. This really makes me want to get next to one at the track with someone whos a meteokre driver. I have to say I got to drive one the other day and Im really impressed, and as much as it pains me to say this, id take it over the new camaro.

I work for the dark side lol. They make me park behind the building . Even though I get a hefty discount on them Ford just doesnt pay me enough to be able to afford one. It is a really nice car though, its the first mustang (i.e: non cobra) that ive really liked since the early 70's cars.

Good run.
Only thing I wish is I would have waited a yr and just picked up a used one for cheaper. Even though I only paid 29k for mine I know i could have got it cheaper used.
Oh and the parking out back is funny. My wife's work makes her do the same thing cause she don't drive a Chevy.

Its the fuel pump im running. Deastchwerks is a local injector & pump company here in OKC. I had issues getting a racetronix and heard some horror stories about walbros so I decided to give this one a try.

We both had a good launch from a dig and we both let out around 100 just because it wasnt safe to be running at that spot in the first place, much less at over 100mph.

I only trap 106 anyways, so I really see no reason to race above that. Im not a supra owner, i dont do 60-160 rolls.

At 28k its thousands of dollars loser deal to say the least. I would've taken it just to take it at that price, especially if it was new, even with employee discount. They must have been super desperate to get rid of it.
