Sounds like fun. I enjoy the videos of your car.

Got the Nitrous Outlet kit installed a couple weeks ago, stripped and polished the wheels, got new front tires so now she is sitting on Nitto 555R DR's out back and NT555 street tires out front. Saving money for awhile as I'm headed back up to college in 6 weeks and probably won't touch the car myself again until March after that.

well, a lot....the 96gt that is.

pulled the motor finally. disassembled it. dropped the block off at R&R to hot tank it and true up the decks. all of those new parts are going into it next weekend. painting cleaning etc. then have to make the turbo mount, headers and hotside. still tossing up 2" primaries or 1 7/8".

Within the last year...
WeaponX CoPs, Bassani Midlength Header and matching catted-X pipe, ported and polished lower intake...Dynoed and retuned..

The part that I did, was installed CoPs and removed Shaker Assembly, PHP Intake Spacer and upper and Lower Intake. Local machine shop did the port and polish. I did not intall the headers either. The motor had to be dropped to get them in. To damn heavy for my ***...

I haven't done anything to my car recently other than clean it. Oh, it got some new Nittos up front. It needs some other maintenance done to it now that it's getting old...

  • Thow out bearing
  • Clutch
  • Front & rear brakes (pad & rotors)
  • new blower (the little KB is getting tired. It makes good power, but she's getting old now).
  • New pullies
  • Subframe connectors
  • 3.55 rear end gear. I'm sick of the 3.90 gear for the street.

I did not know what "recently" meant so I just rounded it off to one year. Performance parts get real expensive so there is only a limited budget for me...well according to the wife's rules.

Boy, do I miss my old single days when my coffee table was a 69 SuperBee 383 block with a piece of plywood and my budget was whatever I had in my pocket at the time minus the rent.

Any recent pictures of it?

I'm slowly assembling the Evo now. Spent a few hours on it the other day and got the timing belt on and timing set. Put on all the timing covers and all the things that go with the new oil pan. Looking at getting rid of the air bags in the Trailblazer. The uneven ride is driving me crazy.
