Ju1ce i was just going to say if people are saying you have gear's that would be a fairly easy one to set to rest that's all. Not that you would want to waste your time on it i know i wouldn't.

When I was heads cam etc running 7.2s@96 I ran a bolt on 01 mustang gt, I would assume high 8@82 or so at best. Why? None of the other heads cam ls1 or the like could beat him in an 1/8 mile dig race.
I was on street tires he was on drag radials
We went from a dig. He jumped out about 2 lengths right off the hit before we really started moving. He continued to pull about another 1/2 car up to 45 or so where i stopped his pull. Around 60 i started coming back on him.. by 80-85 I was coming by him and put multiple lengths on him very easily.
My point, like juice said, if you get a jump on someone it is VERY hard to stop that pull and start reeling in and pass them. Usually the speed deficit has to be pretty wide between the two cars for it to happen in most normal races. From a roll with two similar HP/weight cars, its ALL about the hit. That could make a difference between you pulling the other car by 2 or losing by a fender. Reason being, never ever let a bike get a jump on you, race was over before you hit the gas.

You think???
I'm putting my car together right now and planning on running it on E85 and it will be N/A for while until I get bored with it and add gas.
E85 has benefits for N/A applications:
With enough compression you can actually pick up a tenth or two over race gas and it makes the engine run cooler.
Race gas around here is $12-$14 a gallon for the octane I need for my car; E85 is just over $3 a gallon.

Edit:
Check out the link. Maybe it's a bit different from your platform, but the gains I'm seeing going to e85 are about >10whp

He had drag radials, I did not. Wasn't grabbing traction until the 45 mph mark.

It's not hard when the chase car has close 100 more whp. Your pull never even slows, and your pulling from the jump. If these runs were closer I might believe it was a driver, but there is something not equal other than the driver.
I'm not trying to bash, please don't think I'm being a dick. Just stating my opinion.
Did you buy the car new? Just wondering if anything could have been done before you bought it.

There's NOTHING done to the car... it just made 345whp on a dynojet last week!

I should say that I don't think it's worth it. It's not that you won't see a performance increase on an N/A engine it's just that the performance to cost isn't as appealing in comparison to a FI setup where the gains are higher. The cost is including injectors/pump(s)/rails, line, tuning time, availability of e85, logging and adjusting timing as e85 fluctuates, etc. If it's worth it then go for it. I know people do it, but it's not as prevalent in the NA world. Same goes for meth injection. If you like the expected gains for an NA setup and it's worth the cost to you then go for my man.
