Just now looking at the second video from op if the vette had some better sticky tires I think he would of won. Look how close that race was from what I am gettin at. There are a lot of varibles to consider, but just reviewing the 2nd video.

did you not read the thread? the vet asked for a 45 so he could do it in 2nd gear and had no spin. it was closer yes, but the cobra had clutch issues. he still won so it wasn't mentioned. but the cobra is clearly the faster car......

I agree but your tires still slow you down a bit. Not so much of spinning but thier heavy as hell.

Don't mind him he is more than likely just butt hurt because he owns a similar car... Like it has been stated its the street and anything can happen those videos are proof of what happened during those races so thats all that matters. Not to mention the owners of both cars had a good time and aren't bitching about it so why should anyone else

It's the fawkin SRK section for gosh sakes. People are going to elaborate and give their opinions on the race. Don't get your panties in a wad. Besides, neither the OP or the vette owner seemed to be offended by any of the comments so everyone else just chill out.

I say we all each contribute an excuse as to why the Vette lost.

Here's mine:
The passenger in the Cobra threw out a banana peel and the Vette's back tires spun on it causing the Vette to lose the race

Exzactly....like mike said above there will be many more races I am searching for a clutch as we speak. Fix the clutch and race in some cooler air, and your gonna spray me and mike to see how bad we lose lol.

Stopsign, aren't you already in the South? How much more summer do you need? It seems like the South have shorter and shorter winters already.

You guys need to come down to Louisiana, 100+ everyday for the forseeable future. I won't even mention the 95+% humidity to go along with it. It is miserable as usual.

I'm a state below you. 45 degrees is too cold for me. Plus I mainly want the palm trees and a garden all year long almost. FRESH back yard oranges turned into FRESH back yard orange juice and Captain Morgan, WHAT!?
