Not really. Have you seen any bolt-on new 5.0 trap 126? I don't go by dyno's....fords tend to be dyno queens. And it's heavier.

Do you know that to be fact or are you just saying that to try and prove that the LS6 is a better engine?
Honestly I am not a fan of a lot of swaps; and a different brand engine in a Corvette would be one. I just hate it when people say asinine **** to prove a point; especially when it is based on their feelings and not facts.

By lookin at the records 122 has been it for a 5.0, and that's in a full drag car. So with the info I have, I would say that's a fact unless you find something different. Which one is better?? who knows. It probally depends on what your trying to do with it. I would say in this situation....ls6 all the way.

Also has a bolt on LS6 in an Fbody been 10's? I have not seen a bolt on Fbody go 10's? SO I guess that makes the 5.0 better.

For starters I only have the cam the that came in the ls6...the stock one. So don't even be starting that bullshit. As far as et goes....I'll take my 4+ mph anyday over -.3 And yes there have been bolt-on ls6 in the 10's...check out the vette records. And more than likely it was'nt in some stripped out heap like it took the 5.0 to do it. If I can keep a 10bolt to gether under mine you'll see another.

I know Evo has been 10.8 not sure what tarp speed was. But I find out in sec. Also Revolution has been 10.7 is remember right. I have a buddy knocking on 10's with a bolt on manual. We will see if he can get it in about a month or so.

Drag brakes, no ac, no cruise, only a drivers seat, no power brakes, no abs.....you know like the one that holds the record I read about in 5.0 mustang mag. Go look at the ls1 records....it's faster than a 5.0 record. Hell if I set my car up like that who knows what it would run.

And look at the weights of these cars. There not gutted? Look when they ran. Winter months perfect DA. more then likely negative at that. One even has a swap tranny correct? And none ran close to the trap you do.
So anytime some one has something on there car or something off car you have on it makes it a race car is what I have noticed from you. And you asked what my car run. What has yours? Cause we both are far from the fastest times.
I know people who seen that car in person. It wasn't gutted like you think. It still had stock brakes. Only had one seat. everything else was there minus a/c. Still stock clutch.

You went 11.15@126 and the fastest bolt on time is 10.6@122.
Both cars for fastest times of the cars weigh a lot less then both us.
WHat does yours weigh with you in it? Mine is right at 3560 with me in it. About same when made the 11.47 pass.

I've never seen those cars. At that weight they probally are gutted. But who cares. We were talikng about this 5.0 vette swap and you got all butt hurt.....I bet that *** of yours bleeds 5.0....lol

Mine should weigh a tick over 3200 with me in it.....the difference is'nt enough for you to make up that 7mph your lacking. You should've seen my 11.15 vid by now. It spun so bad in first I had to pedal it. I would love to be able to really get with the launch of it and actually accelrate the whole 1/4. It would no doubt pick up mph.

Or better yet you trap better so what. When the ticket is handed out and the car is the winner in the other lane cause he ran a 10 and you still ran a 11. Yep you me them still lost.
