Easily a low eleven car trapping anywhere from 122-125.
The OP traps 124... I'd venture to say it runs harder FRUM ROLL too.

Try not to bench race with ricer math, it will bite you

Youre cool...

No one is bench racing, there was no math involved, only facts. Any car weighed at 2500-2800 lbs with somewhat decent gearing and 400 whp will move. Go take your radio flyer shitbox cobalt to another forum. OP, not knocking your times or your car at all, those are some pretty high trap numbers for your mods for virtually bolt-on only. I guess the weight saving has helped a **** ton. Has to be stripped to come in at 3k.

Not stripped at all. You probally could'nt even tell if looked at it, most people don't notice anything until I point out what I've done. Everything is there, all interior, cruise, ac.....everything.....even the windshield washer tank with fluid...lol

I have bogarts on it right now. I lose about 18-20lb with them over my SSr 18's. The 18's are really light for their size.

So with:
LS6 heads
Y pipe
Gears
weight reduction
radials

You nearly run 10's at 124 mph? My old AFR heads/cam C5 Z06 made 450 rwhp ran similar time and weighed less....thats crazy

Pretty much. Most is in the sig. The t-56 has been faceplated. It was also a little heavier when I ran last and I have done a couple areo mods since then....I have another to do yet

If I can get a couple issues fixed I think it has a 10 sec. pass in it with decent air and track prep @ 125+

How much did your c5 zo6 weigh? I thought they were like 3150lb.

It's a turbo car... If you put 4-5 lengths on him that quick I would say he had the boost turned down. was he brake boosting? Especially if your car was limping a bit.

2700ish lbs and 400+rw and 3000ish and 415rw should be a damn close race considering mods.

I say give him his race one more time, plan it... Then you get your race.

Good kill

As for times transamcoupe.. I'm assuming he doesn't lift to shift and knows how to drive it pretty good.. That with nice gearing and a whole lot of weight reduction helps a whole lot.
I know of a cam only ls1 with ls6 cam that doesn't have quite the weight reductions and runs very close to the same times. The ls6 setup runs good if time is spent on it.

Here's a 11.4x @ 123 pass with a 1.90 60....Mason Dixon's track prep is non existant.
http://youtu.be/nj7aVIjI6_Q

I don't have any vids of my 11.1-11.2 passes. Basic difference was 1.73 +/- 60's

How is it not weird it runs close to what decent heads/cam c5zs that weight the same run? Adds up to me.

They weight 2800-2900, no brake boost and yes I lift when I shift......but I don't use the clutch and no....I give him his race twice.

Let me ask again...You have stock cam and stock heads, stock exhaust manifolds, stock ls6 intake? 413 whp? I making sure I have my facts straight.

I would think there is a little more fine tuning in his setup than what is told.

A 413rwhp car would get walked hard by a 450rwhp car that has a better curve. Maybe he knows juice?

Just one of the few cars that run .5 quicker and 5 mph faster than all the other similar setups for no reason.

Yes and no...read the sig. Crate ls6 with bolt-ons. It has a ls6 intake that I modified a little and a tb modified to match it. I think it's like 81mm now.

Agreed it does, I was referring to my old Z with some weight reduction and you ran a better time than my H/C Z did.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...3200stall.html

This heads/cam fbody made the same numbers you did, although he does have a stall converter which chews up some power but still. Youre car is incredibly strong to have a stock LS6 with a y pipe running 10 seconds at 124 mph. With those numbers, you would run pretty close with a C6Z...crazy

Exhaust etc knocks some off. Most weigh 3000-3075.

The 60 ft and et don't add up for me with the given mph.
