Evan, a Cobra beats an Evo, You beat a Cobra, but you lose to an Evo, and an Sti runs 0-60 in 1.9 sec. Schooled.

Of course.

You forget.. Cuts a 1.1 60' time bone stock.

I give up. I just wish I could outrun a stock evo.

You do realize that your car is faster than a heads/cam Z06?

It's faster than alot of h/c cars....and not as fast as full bolt-on ls1's according to the fastest list. Go figure that.
Just so ya know, the suspension is a roadrace type set-up. I pull the front bar because the skinnes can't generate enough force to make the car roll anyway. I'm sure with a full drag set-up it would go deep into the 10's. I'm only leaving @ 2500-3000rpm to preserve the 10bolt.

So with full drag suspension, and leaving at a higher RPM you could possibly see a low ten pass, maybe even a 9 sec pass? On a stock ls6 motor with a y-pipe?

Bro its common sense that there is no way in hell that you are running those times with a stock ls6 motor and a damn y pipe and some gears. No damn way. A 150 shot, then yea.

I did'nt say that. I said deep into the 10's ....maybe a 10.7+/-
In a few weeks we'll see what a fast 90 does for it. According to what I've read on here a ported fast should be worth 10-15rwhp, and mine is ported.

Sure it has ram air...it's a SS with the hood sealed to the air box and stock ratio Harland sharp rockers. Between the 2 the sealing of the hood made more difference.

Sorry...no nos

The y is 3" though if that helps ya.

Why is this so hard to believe? We have all pretty much seen bolt-on ls1's go into the 11.8 range and that is not that really that hard. I have 60 more rwhp and @ .1 off et @ for+ 10 hp gets me to 11.2.

You've got me beat in the cool department man. You totally owned me there.

Facts? What facts? Just because a car has a peak number, doesn't mean anything. Just because it's "weighed at 2500-2800lbs" with it's "decent gearing" doesn't mean jack. Driver and setup mean a lot.

Not only are you assuming that this car should have just annihilated the OP's car, you're now picking his car apart and doubting everything because you just can't seem to justify it in your head. Sounds like a ricer to me.

Have fun with your insults Mr. "Security forces" rent-a-cop. I'm going to take my radio flyer and go home.

Stop trying to justify yourself man. Your car is more than capable of it with the setup you have. Again, great kill. Hope to see more from your ride.

Security forces rent a cop.... Lol. That was a cute insult I suppose.

It's good to not make fun of things like that unless you know the entire story. Because people who are in the know usually get a good kick because of how dumb you made yourself look.
