Well in that case you could do cams and some ported heads for about a grand more... Peak powers is not everything. once you go into the motor tho eatons fall behind.
Sorry I'm late to the party but man it sure would suck to have an eaton car with a peaky powerband.
And if I were you I would talk to Lemons about wanting to build a nice LS1.
Nah, **** that.. I like to just throw parts together and run what everybody else does. Makes it more interesting, and i dont get blamed for spraying people, average Joe kinda motto.
Kinda same motto you have, yea?

When I was 19 I was running 7.2s@97 with no tune for the heads, bone stock suspension spinning my *** off with a mid 1.6, and 2000+da. Car should have been cutting mid 1.4s with suspension but I lost interest and sold it. I think it had 6.7s@99-100 the way it sat with traction and a tune.. Still had a whole lot of things to improve on... However I was not as well informed as I am currently so the setup lacked quite a bit. I sold it to try to make a full weight car that's more street friendly run better than it the white car did. I'm .1 and 2mph.. I will match or hopefully surpass both of those next track visit.
Ms4 cam vs 226
Stg 1 ls6 heads vs ported 317s
Fast vs ls6
3100ish# vs 3500ish#
410 vs 373
List goes on.. Needless to say I learned a thing or two since that build. I'm just rambling now however.
I however bought mine with a lid and loudmouth.. Lol
A lot of us have had some decently nice cars at young age.. Nothing to bring up really. I'm 22 also fwiw..
