Not trying to start the usual mopar/chevy/mustang war thats on here 3 times a day.

 

For whatever it is worth, I think Mopar makes some kick *** motors. Tons of torque and horsepower and the body styles are really nice. However, until they shed some fat, they will continue to have a hard time with GMs and Fords. Their other option is to get a nice set of head and a cam to even the playing field. I think if Chrysler ever makes a light weight body with one of their 6.4L motors, look out....

As for 300Cs, I can honestly say that I never ran into one at the track that ever gave me a problem. They stick with me for the first 60ft and that is where it ends. If I am on the 2-step, that I do not even see them in rear view mirror.

 

I gotta say that the new SRT's can't be touched by anyone still in the 13s!! I think they may even be a drivers race for the new coyote 5.0's... the the chargers look sexxy as **** too! Id pimp one over a ford all day long! Lol


Though its gonna be a long time before I step out of a cadillac since ill be picking up a pretty lil SC 6.2 LSA that will bitch slap all stock said cars including the coyotes.... lol

Well on a GM board everyone would choose the Fbody over the Mustang reguardless of looks. I'm not saying his doesn't look nice, I just think mine looks better/meaner

A stock SRT8 with a predator (tune?) will beat a tuned/bolt on/geared Mach 1 with axles and DRs????? Pass me whatever you're drinkin!!

Oh, I thought you were talkin about an SRT with just a predator tune would pull an 09+ CTS-V... I dont think an SRT with just a tune would pull a bolt-on Mach.. I think a tuned SRT would even have problems pulling my big slow ***...

My brother magnum, full weight with a predator and a cold air intake goes 12.7's at 110. Compared to the 13.2 at 106 in his sig. Id say its faster yes.

With one and only run ever in a Mach 1 I got a basically stock one to also run 13.2 with a 2.0 60'. Given a hand full of runs to see what the car and track liked it would have been 12's.

 

This past wednesday i watched a tuned, heads, built tranny and full exhaust mach 1 going 13.4 at 105 on street tires. Said he had a 150 shot too but didnt want to embarass anyone cause with that he goes 12.5's at 114.

 

Im unbiased aswell. Post pics of it and I'll tell you the honest truth wich one looks better
