I Thought This Story Would Be Kill Worthy. Well I Have A 68 Camaro That I Just Put A Ls1 T56 6speed In. Im Very Impressd With It. Any Was All I Have Done To It Is Put A K2n Air Filter On, Aftermarket Maf, Aftermarket Driveshaft, 160 Therm., True Dauls With No Cats, And I Dont Have Power Steering Or A/c Robbing Any Hp, And 342 Gears. Anyway I Way Driving To Tampa To Go To College When I Saw A Supra Getting Along Pretty Good Behind Me. He Looked Like He Was Trying To Catch Me, Like Every One Else That Thinks They Have A Fast Car. You See Having A 68 Camaro With A Cow Hood With Racing Strips, And With Nice Chrome 17 Inch Wheels You Dont Have To Go Looking For A Race, Ill Have People In Minivans Rev At Me. Anyway, This Supra Finally Catches Up To Me And Slows Down Next To Me. He Started Reving Up At Me. I Have To Be Honest, I Knew That I Was About To Get Smoked, Because Supra's Are Known For There Highway Pulls. On The Other Hand I Hadnt Had A Race With A Worth Car, So I Had To Race Him. Well We Slowd Down A Little To 75mph And I Shifted Down Into 3rd Gear. My Engine Was Pering A About 4000rpm's. His Window Were Down As Were Mine And With A Smile On His Face He Counted To Three. When He Got To Three I Floored It And Immediatly Pulled Close To Two Cars On Him. We Went All The Way To 115mpg And At 115 Mph I Was There Car Lengths On Him. We Both Got Off At The Fletcher Exit In Tampa And He Wanted Me To Follw Him To The Gas Station. He Just Had To Know What I Had Under Neath The Hood. He Was Shocked When I Showed Him. He Said He Is Running Between 400-425rwhp. My Question To Yall Is How In The World Did I Beat Him. I Know His Car Weighs About 3450lbs. And Mine Weighs Only 3240lbs. But Still? Do I Have A Freak Engine Or Is It Because Im Pretty Light And Dont Have Power Steering Or A/c Robbing Any Hp? How Much Would That Help Anyway? Well, I Guess I Have A Bpu Killer.
