Rivergate street races last night. This blue like 08+ civic is out there stomping *** so naturally I wanna race. It's obvious that this is not your average ricer due to this car actually being fast. Started asking around about his car and what was done to it. Turns out he has some damn JDM motor I've never heard of. We line up and I baby it outta the hole. He pulls about 3 on me. Bout a 1/8 mile down I catch him, then I put about a car on him. He wants to race again. This time I try to come out of the hole a little harder and I spin for days. He puts like 5 cars on me and then I miss 3rd gear.... Made me sad. I wanted to try again but some idiot yelled cops which lead to the 50 car scramble. About 20 cars stayed, including myself, and no cops ever showed up.

A guy here used to have a Honda hatch that made over 600 whp. He trapped over 140 mph and ran 1000+ CC bikes down from a roll. It was pretty nasty. As for the OPs race, it was probably just a bolt on car.

I got a guy up here who has a 750whp early 90s accord that is itching for a race against my ZX14. Sooner or later it will happen... and I'll probably lose. lol My 350lb weight doesnt' exactly help!

Every civic I race just hands me my ***. On slicks, from a 40 and spinning their radials through 4th they still beat me by about 15 cars and pulling.

And yes, unless he has a tire on that thing you should not have let him out 5 cars from a dig!

I used to go to street races with my old V6 Camaro every weekend, they were ALL Civic's, I used to race a bunch and win, I did get my *** handed to couple times, but this was w/ my V6. All depends on what he had and what you have, but I've witnessed NASTY *** Civic's, those ugly ricers can go pretty quick if you hook them up. But from the looks of it, you have a stock LT1, so don't feel that bad
