I think from a dig, with a sticky tire, better gearing would help quite a bit, but he raced another 97 Cobra with the same mods as this one, plus o/r x and 4.30 gears and it didn't really seem much faster from a roll. Should be interesting when the two Cobras line up.
Also keep in mind that if these cars were both bone stock, the Cobra would walk pretty good. The Z28 dynoed 230 rwhp stock and put down 272 rwhp with the current mods.

I still wish we could have ran when I had my old car! Would have been a fun no BS run on motor and on spray
What was more upsetting was going to Cordova when DA was negative this summer whereas when I went last summer the car ran a 13.024@103.33 NA in 2700 DA. I can only imagine what the new pcm tune for the tranny and nitrous would have done for it in negative DA

I don't mind friendly runs but it wouldnt be until next year, my car is torn apart right now. Send me a pm later sometime and I wont mind a friendly run
I hate when people say **** like this, who cares that it was supercharged, its only 281 cubic inches! Ford could have made a big cubic inch engine that made a ton of power but they didnt, they wanted to go this route

But Yea I'm sorry for bringing it up, only thing is, its still a huge advantage for the cobra and ford failed in using all of its factory potential, the cobra should have been the thing everything feared, i mean super charged from the factory come on lol The cobra should have been a 400+whp car from the factory.

The reverse of this for the GM engines is less valves and no super charger lol

Then why bother putting a super charger on it and fully forged internals....?

So Ford should have added more boost to a blower that already was known to create a lot of heat? What else should they have done that you don't approve of? Have you taken these ideas to Ford?

For all you know, everything in that picture could run 11s. But I made this name almost six years ago when I had my bike. Man, time flies.

Junior year of college now and planning on grad school, so the toy is on the back burner for a bit. Thinking of a C6 when I'm done though. The funds are there, we'll see
