You'd think folks would learn not to make any more "fbody vs mustang" threads. It's always the same ****. No one can agree on how fast what car is supposed to be and blah blah blah. Someone gets their feelings hurt. Etc etc etc. But it does provide me with some good entertainment so I can't complain too much.

Thats exactly right morris! I in my OPINION dont care to hear a time with the head light out,15 min cool time, ice bag etc. When I posted in another thread that my notch with 3 mods went 14.40s thats what it did 99 percent of the day it made 1 iced down run of 14.2 and i dont count it. Its not gonna be gettin iced down before i run some one at a stop light. and they have a drag section on this forum for those type of e.ts right? I think this is the street section were u gotta have both head lights in the 03 cobras lol. screamin: set up is 3:73 gears,2.93 pulley,jlt true cold air, exhaust undecided but off road x of some kind and a thru style muffler should make around 450 wheel and go 10.8 to 11.2 range. upr k member, aluminum bumper support,manual windows and locks, light, and I kept a/c, ps,pb. Should have exact ets and vid early spring. It'll run do you wanna see my 13.01 run ? i got it off the hi8 tapes? That still wont shut you up tho will it? You guys cant stand the fact that i give GM credit where credit is due.
As for you giving GM credit... I hadn't even noticed, or cared. I don't see anyone complaining to you about whatever good you've said about GM. If you're FOOLISHLY referring to my comment related to your statement about the drivers race... Well, I know you weren't old enough to drive then, but the facts don't give any concern about your opinion. For future reference, they never will. They ARE just that stubborn!

I was asked about my set up! no one asked you what you did 20 yrs ago. And you are correct its a fuel system away from first start up . and the goal is low 10s at some point! this is what its gonna run with 4 mods gear,cold air,pulley,exhaust. Your very simple.

03/04 Cobras are very competitive with today's competition, stock for stock. Anyone who doesn't think so is either clueless or lying to themselves. Alot of the same people will probably tell you that a stock LS1 fbody is very competitive today. Just depends what car someone has a boner for.

and didnt say mine was faster. I said i didnt see the stang in the pic running 11s. I also never said mine was faster as it is in mid build so a slug traveling at half speed is faster at the moment. So keep on showing your intelegence saying i said something i didnt because you didnt read the post.

And for the record, anybody who looks at a small picture of a car, mis-identifies it, and then assumes it can't run a number isn't very bright. Since when can a Mach 1 with a blower not run 11s? itll run. yes there are a few mods but not as many as you think. you would be surprised how similar the two cars are for as far apart as they are in years. Im not going into detail in a thred but pm me and id be glad to tell you what they are. And yea its a swap of course its not factory 92 bolt ons thats a given . I said 4 mods on the engine and drive terrain. thats not hard to comprehend. as for the rest of the engine and trans itself they are factory ford mustang parts not factory 92 mustang parts. Did i word that good enough for everyone to understand? I keep callin it how it is as i did the first time im sorry you dont understand the obvious.
