GTR suck, plain and simple. I've beat one with my junk 4th gen that has barely 400rwhp. I drove the GTR after and the car feels really solid and stable with crazy braking power, but its butt ugly, auto and 100K so it just sucks. The stock 09 CTS V I raced was faster. Wayyyy nicer car.

Lol.. Its not an auto... Its a supercalfragulous expialadochous.. What ever man. My wife cant drive a stick. If she could id be considering getting her a z06 instead of a gtr. Gtr is auto only

You really should buy that car, you've posted Evolution Mustang's videos so freaking often on this board that I thought it was already your car!! Iwas so sick of seeing it I almost got sick cause its so ugly!!! And you talked so much crap and brag so much about it, trying to convince everyone that any 5.slow would do the same with minimal mods. 5.0l owners are so lost/cocky that they think a nitrous 5.slow will take a Alpha GTR LOL wow!

Honestly the ctsv trapps 115-118 stock. The pre 12 gtr trapps 117-120 stock. But thats with the gtrs awd catapulting it from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.
Line em up at 60 mph and it will be very close. Actually i think the ctsv will pull at 130 plus.
Quarter mile no contest though. 11.5 vs 12.5 means the awd gtr will win everytime

Like I said before, the CTS-V might feel faster but the GT-R is overall a faster car stock for stock. The 2012 GT-R is a significantly faster car than the CTS-V due to the added HP.

Come on man in the quartermile a stock 420 awhp gtr is almost as fast as my 500 rwhp viper. It can run 11.7s every time while my average runs are 11.7s. But line emup at a 60 mph roll and ill run away.
Awd will help the gtr match much faster cars in the quarter much like how the 230 awhp sti's used to match the 300 rwhp vettes.
Saying somthing is faster because of quartermile is an old mans game. These days mph trap speed and 60-130 mph tell the real story

Isn't the 2012 GT-R going to be a factory 10 second car? Thought I heard that somewhere. Thats going to be real freindly with the roll cage **** track officials.
EDIT: Guess I should have watched the vid before opening my mouth. Looks like with a solid launch, it's def capable of 10's stock. WOW...freaking unbelievable.
