NOt to add to any of this mess, but great kill story. I have a little ole Infiniti G35 Coupe and raced the new 5.0, not sure if he had any mods but sounded great while on the interstate. We pulled up next to each other in third gear and after three honks by the time I was in the middle of fouth I was almost three cars ahead. True story. I also have a leaking headgasket when I did this.
I only ran 12.4 1/4 2.3 60ft 118mph. The 5.0 didnt sound bad but lost to a import. Sorry for the shitty time. street tires and left at 3K.
Not trying to start anything just telling my exp. with the new 5.0 Great looking cars though.

464whp that ran 11.4 to 700whp with the supercharger.
Just for ***** and giggles a few cars with same power as me that are manuals as well have just went 10.8@141mph with a off idle launch which resulted in a 1.8 60ft. Stock suspension 18" dr's. Only second pass in the car. Another just went 11.1@137mph first time to the track. with the car. Stock suspension as well. I have full suspension. They both was full loaded cars and weight. I am a base with weight removed.
Now it is a fact that the auto's with same power as me is running faster with the sc. Usually about .5 faster. A auto with same power that I will be at after the SC install just went 9.8@139. Everything stock except the blower and the tires.

My buddy ran the time in my car as we wanted a better time before the SC went one. And I could not run it as I am in Iraq. Last time I took it he went as well. I ran 11.8 he ran a 11.9. Same track same day. Only difference from t hen to when he ran is it was about 30* cooler out. Mid 60's compared to mid 90's when we took over middle summer. Da on the 11.8/11.9 passes was 3200-3600 all night. Then when he took again it was 1400.
I will not be home for about 3 weeks yet. Then SAR is closed basically till after New Years. then we will get some times with the blower on it.

SC is going on right now. Install has started.

I was honestly just having fun with the situation. I just poke fun at Ohio because of his frequent nut swinging/hard headedness. I simply mentioned one of my race cars just to add insult to injury and keep the ball rolling. Like I said before I like a good "debate" lol and a good opponent that can dish it back. It's all in fun and not to be taken seriously.

What I said is, if you're running 11's... 11's is NOT 13's... Shutting down at the 1/8th mile is likely to net 13's or slower.
