I was at the track one night and decided to pull my filter back to back runs like 5 times and had literally identical times each run. I really don't think it makes a difference. You would think it would, but I never could get any mph gain or ET gain with no filter

 

Well that makes sense if you look at the CFM rate of the filter vs your intake.

 

I think had the poll been started correctly first more people would think the LS1 is going to win. I know when the poll was changed some of us voted for the wrong thing. It says I voted for the LS1...

You guys really don't know how big of a difference a street tire vs a dr makes do you? If they were both on dr's I would prob pick the ls1 to win by a little bit, but with him on street tires I have a feeling the mach will get him so bad off the line he won't stand a chance in hell on coming back. .1 off in the 60ft is .2 at the end of the track. The moore you knowww.

Whats the difference between running 2.0 60' on street tires and on dr?

Its raining right now so if the weather dosn't clear up within 7hrs there wont be a track day.

 

Its raining here but not in Commerce. They are calling for rain in Commerce at noon and again at 2pm then it clears up. So hopefully by 6 all will be well.

There is no difference. A 2.0 is a 2.0 no matter what you run on. That's like asking if a pound of feathers weighs more than a pound of bricks. My point is he is going to kick your a$$ off the line and let's say he has a 1.8 60ft compared to your 2.0. That is 4 tenths in the 1/4 mile or 4 car lengths. So if you only pulled him 2 cars from a roll race you are prob in deep S*** at the track.

 

Exactly. If you've read the thread he has stated to have run only a 2.0 in the past on some dr so IF he can't run better then that on this shitty track he is the one thats in deep S*** as you put it.

 

60% chance of rain in Commerce between 2-3pm then it clears up. Track opens at 6:30 so I hope it will be fine.
