Bring the 5.0 down here or Mach 1
Bring the 5.0 Mustang or Mach 1 down here and we will line it up with our BONE STOCK SRT8 Challenger with a Automatic in it. It has 2200 miles on it now and very ready to play with any stock 2011 5.0 or SS Camaro or Mach 1.. I am a bowtie guy but I am telling you that New version 6.4 in the Challenger with 470hp/470torque will flat move out. I have a 02 SS camaro and it pisses me off too that it runs that good==but the facts are it does! The 6.1 isn't even close to it in performance. I know this because his brother has a first generation and he has a new one. The car pulls strong all the way to 173mph too.. It has a governor on it.
We are in Texas where it gets Hot and Humid as hell and race at the track frequently in not so good air conditions ,,,not in a magazine or keyboard.

niteriderws6 go to Sacramento they have a 5.0 with same mods you claim one had that you beat you running low 11's in the 1/4.
he has exhaust/tune/suspension. runs 11.2 in CA so sounds like the ones you racing can't drive.
The new SRT8 and 5.0 will be a drivers race with times that have showed up for each. Charger will be at a slight disadvantage compared to the Chally cause it weighs a hair more. Now lets get some good drivers in both and see what they can do. Manual to manual auto vs auto.
As far as price sure it cost as much as the new GT500 and a ZR1. But them Mopar boys don't want to compare to them cars cause they know they will lose indeed. So they compare to the SS and GT models that are easy 20k cheaper depending on trim levels.

Also why you only post video's of the SRT8 doing mid 12's. There is also video's of t hem doing 13's also. Just like the SS/5.0. they have ranged in times at the track. With the best always being shown. No one wants to face facts that they all don't run times stated just like the SS/5.0 don't always run the best they have went.

Fastest true bone stock manual 5.0 went 12.2@114. That was at Cecil. A auto went 12.37 there as well. My 12.1 was on slicks. That was my only mod.
I know few 5.0's that run there. Should not be hard to get one to run. The two fastest stock ones have ran there time there. One ran 12.3 stock in an auto 5.0 now just ran 11's with nothing but tune and tires in his auto.
