That would make a good sig however lol.

Nu uh, fail for lack of knowledge on a given topic, and subsequently occupying a concrete position on that very topic . Just saying that obviously a lot of what you are saying is not being weighed too heavily.

I agree, in a way the Charger IS made for a mom (although a very performance oriented one) and it IS four doors. It is pulling off what a lot of "pony" cars couldn't (including your Mach 1). It is doing this while providing four doors, and solid mpg (given the variables). It's main downside is the price, because it is so much more than some of the competition. But for a lot of folks it's not the price, it's what the car can do for them, and this car obviously does a lot!

Now in my own opinion, it's not one I'd probably end up driving and it's not on my want list. It's just amazing what these cars can offer, and have one or two more children sir, and you may be eating your own words

I hope this doesn't seem like Mopar flag waving either lol. I really don't have a lot of love for Dodge overall, but I can give credit where it's due I guess

Yeah for sure, it's a family performance car at best by most of our standards lol. But it does it well.

How am I going to eat my own words? You think a stock one is going to outrun me at the track?

Well I meant by it being larger and more comfortable for having a few kids. But yes, I think it is possible for a stock one to beat you at the track, haven't they already? I'm not real sure. These big boys are still hitting 175 mph top speed apparently (but who knows). I know top speed isn't really our thing here, but damn! It's an impressive ride man, face it.

For clarification, I believe a stock srt8 6.4 could out et you, and out trap you at the track. But as far as my previous comment, I was referring to it doing better than your Mach 1 (and my ls1 included) did when it was stock (and it's a four door sedan).

Impressive ride is an opinion and it's not mine. It is a 4 door which is a joke to the old Charger and on top of that it has a 392cid top of the line Dodge engine that can't even get it out of the 12's with an automatic and a paddle shifter setup. An impressive car to me is an C6, 335, 03-04 Cobra, GT500, 5.0, EVO. You don't hear anything about a Dodges, and there is a reason because of that.

To me, there is just something sweet about doing more with less rather than less with more. I guess that's why I'm a Ford guy huh???

An 03/04 cobra that runs 13's stock. Super impressive. Gt500 which is theyre lucky theyll get mid 12's stock. New 5.0 which is a mid 12's with a decent driver, wow. Lot in common with the mid 12's 392 motor in a 800/1000lb heavier car.

WTF are you talking about? I have concluded that you may be one of the dumbest people on this entire site. Or your just mad a bone stock 4 door sedan is running faster times then your modded out mach 1.

You do realize the charger and the 300 run the same times right...

Really huh? Yeah that seems rather narrow minded, but yes...you ARE a Ford guy lol.

It's not doing less with more, it's actually doing more with more. It's a win win really, and that's just the four door grocery getter application. Can't wait til some guys shed some weight, grab some ET streets, and humiliate folks at the track. It will happen, it's just a matter of when.

You're comparing apples to oranges and still losing the fruit basket!. When an orange is perfroming as well as an apple, hell I'd think that was impressive...to a non-Ford guy (as you put it) that is.

Those cars set bench marks in the performance community. The Charger and Challenger are nothing but a good thing to put in an issue of Motor Trend to compare to the faster cars that are out. After that issue is out they are never talked about again.

Also yes 5.0's are trapping 114 stock. Sorry you are the mopar fan boy who can not believe that. As they are running mid 12's also.
Never been a mopar fanboy in my life. Hence the reason why its not my only car. I still have YET to see a bone stock 5.0 run anywhere near the times you claim, even on youtube they need full bolt ons to run mid 12's. Every stock 5.0 I have ran at the strip I have beat. Bottom line is we arent seeing a handful of 5.0's running 12.5's off the showroom bone stock like we are just about any 392 Challenger, 300 or Charger.

12.5@112-114 is the average time guys who have never owned a SRT8 are running right out of the box
