Picked up another little winter project. 2006 ZZR600 with 482 miles. Been in storage for 2 years with no prep so it doesn't run very well (carbs gummed up). I didn't want a carb'd bike, but the price was too good to pass up. I could just clean the carbs and resell for a substantial profit, but i'll probably just keep it for the summer.
By spring it will have basic bolt-ons, re-jet and a few little things. Should be a fun mid 11s commuter bike for next summer.

Yeah mine has been a B about that lately too because every weekend I get blackout and fraternity brothers take my phone and like to send out stupid texts and other childish stuff like that

Instead of selling the 95 I'm going to keep it. I think I have the crappy geared T56 sold and I'm going to turn around and get a TKO 500 more than likely. Face plated???? Hmmm Wonder if it would run as fast as Hiho with a face plated TKO behind the 331cid.

I'm not sure I want to faceplate it. Honestly I don't know enough about it to make that call. But I feel it takes a bit of "driver skill" out of the combination and that is what keeps me racing really. That is why you won't find me in an automatic.

If anything stoppy it puts more of the driver in the situation. You have no syncro nannies helping you shift.....and down shift. Think about it....syncro's make it easier to shift. No timing involed, don't really have to blip the throttle to downshift.....you have a girly transmission....lol
I mainly did it to keep from knocking syncros out of the t56 at higher rpm. They really dont like being shifted over 6500, not to say they won't do it....but they won't do it for long.
At least you realise the gearing of the t56 elimates the advantage mustangs have out the gate with their 1st/2nd gears. If you lose that your done....lol
