Having finally raced a 5th Gen SS Camaro, I do not believe that a stock LS1 Camaro or T/A will beat a new SS. I raced one from a Dig and I was only 1.5 cars ahead of him and then he gained on me after a while. I have Intake and a Borla cat back and I don't know if the 5th Gen I raced was Auto or Manual. Having owned an LS1 Camaro, I doubt a stock one will beat the new SS. Just saying.

2 ss ran a 13 with a tune and i ran a 12.9 barestock on bald tires not bragging just think thats funny.

he was saying how most 5th gen drivers couldn't drive he said he could. then i questioned him about the time and he said he can't drive that well. right after he said he could drive. it might brake into the 12's with a 15year old girl driving.lol

LOL...I have seen a few go 12.8's stock. At a shitty track. Also seen cammed ones only run 12.4.

oh and 10 to 8 on S197 and the 4th gen is winning.

The driver can lose the race. I was power shifting the F out of the GTO and we went for a long distance 1/2 mile and he started to pull me after that. You can do that at 5:30AM Fun

02 WS6 or a 02 SS. Tried to buy one about 5 yrs ago but they wanted way to much for the SS. And the WS6 needed a lot of work.

yeah some are in just some **** condition. i finally found a low mile ws6 that has never been ran and i jumped on it. it was posted for 15999 and booked for top dollar 17999. i told her that i would offer her 12000 she said how about 12999. i told her i was on my way. found out the the intena didnt work but only cost 129 dollars and i got her down to 12000 and bought it with 60000 miles on it.

My wifed boss at the Chevy dealer just bought a 02 WS6 with 12,200 miles on it. Car looks like it is still brand new. He hasn't said what he paid though. His son just bought a 94 SS with only 36k miles on it. It was very very well taken care of also.

not saying mine has amazing paint but its no where near bad and is good looking for being as old as it is. only thing is i have a few sail panel bubbles. so once i install the cam get a 9 inch intake tb bellow maf and lid. im going to get the car repainted and get the old sail panel removed and put an new one on.

I seen GT500s run 13s. I seen cammed LS1s run 13s. Sure I've seen cammed 5th gens run 12. Now post up traps. Traps will tell you how fast the car really is. Not this gay no traction quarter mile ****.

Your timeslip showed a 1.94 60'. Thats about as good as you will get on a stock auto ws6 and you certainly weren't spinning to be sub 2.0.

I was one of the few that voted on the 5th gen but I know that more people will favor the 4th gen. They have been around forever, are proven and it will take time for people to dig the 5th gen, happens every time a platform changes.

If you aren't the original owner, there is a possiblity that it has some tuning done to it. It may not, but it's possible.
