Got called out by a stang the other day Yesterday I was driving home and noticed a blacked out mustang gt (I think it was 2001) heading the other way. As he passed me he dropped it a couple gears and floored it.
I thought I knew who owned it so I asked him if he reved and burned rubber at an orange T/A the other day. His respone was "I don't waste rubber on Trans Am's." I told him thats pretty big words for a small engine stang. In which he proceded to tell me that his small engine stang walks ls1's every day. I responded to him "your mustang might be able to walk a stock ls1 having a bad day but I seriously doubt you can race your car faster than your mouth" lol.
His car is a pretty basic bolt on mustang I believe. Any body got any input on predicting the results if we run into each other?

A 2001 bolt-on stang with slicks leaving at 5k at the best prepped track in negative DA 50 degree weather might crack a HIGH HIGH 12.

A pretty much basic bolt-on GT without even some gear is going to have a hard time staying close to you. He might hang with you for a short time, but after that, I think it will begin to look bad for him. Good luck man.

No Joke! I never even mentioned my car other than asking if he reved at an SOM orange trans am. He just went on and on about how he just eats LS1's HAHAHAHA! I looked at his pictures on facebook of his car and he has deffinately spent his money on appearance mods more than anything. Thanks for the input guys!

I found out from other people that know him and have raced him that at the very most he has complete bolt ons which I don't believe he even has that. He has spent alot on lowering it, rims, a new hood, and other appearance things... as it if he thinks he is quick because of that? I don't know lol.

I know the guy too... Says he runs 12's.. With a hood and rims. But won't tell anything else about it? Pretty sure it's just a muffler delete for extra cool noise.
Word on the street is that he lost to a 350z. I have beaten said 350z in my lt1...

no doubt it is, he has still yet to reply... guess I shoulda been nicer, Oh wait... he finally just replied. Wants to meet me on the streets around 11 tonight. haha Ill be in bed so I told him, lets just take it to the local stip that way I can frame the timeslip. In all honesty if I really wanted to have a quick car I would have spent my money on appearance mods too.

We look at Briarbrook and they look toward us. lol. It's about 4-5 blocks south of Pennell street. I own a 600 whp c5 z06, 500 awhp Audi, and an 85 iroc that has yet to be finished. I used to own an 01 som ss camaro with H/C/I, gears,etc.
