just saying i think its funny how some parts of the country certain people drive more of a certain vehicle... like i see more chicks driving V6 stangs camaros and acuras more than anything. i dont really see girls drive corvettes and the ones that do, the car probably belongs to their husband/BF. and why they would let them drive it.. i have no idea

I call bs on ever seeing as many girls driving vettes than mustangs. Not really possilbe unless he is just thinking that because when he see's the vettes they actually draw attention unlike the mustangs.... Honestly in a year or so I would like to get my wife a 2011 v6 mustang. Look good, quick, and get 30 mph. Pretty nice cars if you ask me.

907whp and its only trapping 137 =/.
Killemall boost changes everything. You car makes 500whp, throw a turbo on that on lower boost levels and it would 6-700whp easy.

I know the 5.0 has ran a best of 9.87@139. It has a procharger with 16lbs boost/stall and boss intake stock weight of 3800lbs plus driver. Trying to find out the GTR's mods for sure.
edit* The GTR has More boost/tune/exhaust for sure and cold air set up for sure not sure what else.

I have the same set up on my car but i was getting better traction that night. We are both trying to be the first stock turbo GTR in the 9's

Very rare we get what were expecting... 700 rwhp is really reaching.
My car has. Intake/exhaust/no cats/roller rockers/baby cam/tune at 499 to the wheels.
Dropped her off 20 minutes ago to have a heavy 595 lift cam installed. Supposedly im to gain 70-90 crank hp and dyno somewere from 560-580 to the wheels. But Im skeptical and expect 525 to the wheels. Hopefully you can be around 700 and me around 600 this monday. But I dont see it that way

704 whp on a stock 5.0 L engine is a whole lot of power...stock fuel system and no meth injection? I'd back it down. I'm not trying to be a wet blanket, but FI will break **** in a hurry if you're not careful.

Im interested to see what Ohio runs at the track as well. I think the new 5.0s are cool cars... But i can see why everyone would be annoyed by the constant 12 year old banter as to how Godlike they are.
Either way they are a dime a dozen whether its a 10 sec car or not. They're almost as common as honda civics out here in Cali. I could drive by one and not even notice, lol.
I guess what im trying to say is that they are so common they have no street presence. I really like what Ford did with the BOSS 302 though. Awesome car.
