The 4th is allot tighter inside, it's also a smaller car so kinda expected. I feel like I am in more of a muscle car were the 4th gens feel more sport car to me. I personally like the bigger hefty feel, but I have always liked the bigger cars! They are just more my style, buick and oldsmobiles have always been a my type. I was pretty pumped to see the change they made with the Camaro, it fits me better, love the big hood view and cowl you can see from the driver seat.

tighter as in the chassis feels more solid, the car has better fit and finish. not in the actual size of the vehicle.

i agree with this. however, the 4th gen platform started in 93 and was the same from 93-02 as far as the chassis/interior/exterior is concerned. so many interchangable parts inside and out, basically the same cars. comparing a car built in 2010 to one built in 1993 should be no comparison. the 4th gen cars are no doubt a cheaper build. let's be honest here - the only reason half of us have a 98+ car is because of the engine. those of you that have pre 98 cars are just ******* stubborn.

if i wanted a nice dd that i would mod very lightly or not at all - i would opt for a 5th gen m6 car. this ta has been around 7 years and never a dd. it is now a dd and that is going to change very soon. i'd rather drive a beater pos around than this car every day. i can't complain about the 27 mpg or fact that it always runs. it is just painfully obvious that it's a poorly designed 20 year old chassis that got a strong engine, cheap *** interior and gaudy (imho) exterior. if it wasn't reliable as **** i'd ship this heap out in a heartbeat, but thus far it has been good to me. plus i like beating up on new "performance" cars with my 13 year old, 100k mile stock ****.

I would love to run a N/A LS3 5th gen in my N/A LS3 F-body. That would be an ugly situation.

Power-to-Weight FTMFW...

And my **** rides smooth so what...what!

This... I make descent money but I'm not shelling out 30k+ on a car thats going to be daily driven. It's hard on them to begin with and a lot of money to **** down the drain considering my paid off 4th gen is already doing the job pretty well.

so if you took a motor out of a newer vehicle to put into your older vehicle im sure there are 5th gens with motor swaps that could prob hurt your feelings in a race.

By tighter in the 4th gen I mean smaller, the 5th gen is built much tighter and solid over the 4th gen. It's a new car it should be though, you really can't compare the cars, they totally different cars and different feel.
