Our cars are pretty close competition, after seeing the vids it was more like 1 car difference.

I said the weight thing in the defense of people doubting the z06, but some how you still didn't see me defendhing the chevy.

shut up redfire your making yourself look stupid. the gt500s are Heavy vs the z06. and 700hp is 700 hp is 700hp. its pretty funny when a moron tries to claim 700hp isnt impressive. im sure that gt500 runs really well. it cant help its a pig in weight

450 rwhp=12. 7 at 116 (c5z06)
500 rwhp=12. 3 at 120(old gts viper)
550 rwhp=11. 9 at 123 (old srt10 viper)
600 rwhp=11. 6 at 126 (finally matched stock 450 rwhp c6z06)
This is why when everyones raveing about the 650 hp GT500 I cant help but chuckle to my self...

Of course. A car that only trapps 112 can run 11.9 with perfect traction. At the end of the day its still slow.
Recently saw a gt500 on the dyno hit 530 rwhp with intake pulley and tune. Impressive number but still just a low 120s mph car.
At the end of the day trap speed tells everything not rwhp.
Honestly the stang in the vid did well against a 570 rwhp vette... Sure its a very quick car. Just when you here 700 plus rwhp your expecting more
