GTP vs bolt on LS1 SS

I totalled my SRT4 a couple of months ago. Long story, but it involved some douchebarg in a maxima. He thought he has what and it took, and he didn't. But I ended up driving my car through a walmart parking lot

Anyway, I replaced my SRT4 with a modded 99 GTP, smaller pulley, ubend delete, xp cam, headers, catback, shift kit, tune ect ect.
Yesterday some dumbass that is my brother's friend was talking **** about my Grand Prix. Talking about how he could give me 3 cars from a 40 roll and put 5 cars on me by 120 or so. HAHAHA I thought, so we went out to run them.
We raced 3 times, the first time he gave me the 3 cars, and I added about 4-5 more on the way to 120. The next runs after that he self smarted himself and decided to run straight up. And on both runs I put about 6 cars on him each time. After the runs ***** didn't talk **** no more, and was really cool with me. Fast cars earn respect were I come from, so I'm happy I got myelf a pontiac now
. He said he mods were a lid, full exhaust, 3.73 gears, and a tune.
Next up on my kill list is my friends STI.

depending on the pulley. if its a 3.2 and the cam he could be a low 13 car maybe just maybe with slicks and weight reduction but still only trap 104-105 mph. the 3.8 is a dog uptop. but strong down low and really a midly bolton ls1 should beat it esp to 120 mph. but no the S/CL36 does not > ls1 heck i was wooping bolton GTP's in my gxp. below is a GTP with a 3.0 pulley im willing to bet your is a 3.2 at best.

Where are you located OP...if your in south Florida and have a cam and someone to record let's get it! I have a mild modded LS1.

Well, good kill. Although it appears you beat the driver imo. You will need more than that where I come from to come around and put 5 cars on a tuned bolt on ls1! Where do you think you're posting here...ls1.com? Lol.
edit: did the guy you beat call you an "effin' *** stick that couldn't drive his thumb up his **** after a ****"? Because if so...you may just have very well been "Mystic-fied"!

No it's an LS1, I've known this guy and his car for a awhile.

Thanks, and like I said, he was really cool with me after the race. Maybe he respects my GTP now? I don't know. And I think I know of this "mysticz28" idiot you guys are talking about.
Back when I had my SRT4, he made AT LEAST 10 **** talking comments on all the videos I made. Everything from my car being a POS and how I needed to come race a real car like a his GTP or Camaro. To off the wall **** about how he wanted to **** my mom, and beat me face in with a dumbell. Is he on this site? I hope not, he's an embarrassment to all you LS1 guys.

way to beat a HORRIBLE driver noob... your GTP doesnt even make the power of a bone stock LS1 and youre putting 6 cars on a modded one? not to mention from a roll starting in the WORST possible spot of your power band? get real..

the OP car would be damn lucky to put down 300 whp with the mods he listed.. its probably more like 280-290whp..trapping about 106-107 at the very best..i could believe that he hung with a bone stock LS1 but putting several cars on a bolt-on/tuned/geared car is just not happening.. he would need about 400whp to accomplish that..

lol haters gonna gate. Say what you want, but none of you were there. It happened, some of you are just blind and don't want to believe the truth that sits in front of you. The S/C 3800 is a bullit proof wonder, beast of a machine.
Maybe he was a bad driver, but a win is still a win. And if I had a video of this race, believe me I would have posted it. A video of me putting trains on an LS1 would have been so much better. The results would have been the same though I'm afarind. You guys would still get butthurt about it, and hate on my car.

Are you sure he was racing you? No way in hell a mid-high 13s GTP is going to not only stay even but put 4-5 cars on a full exhaust geared LS1.
Dude, your car barely traps in the triple digits, his most likely hits 110 on a regular basis. If anything, he should have put 6 cars on you.
No way in hell you even stay close to a car that traps 7mph+ more than you, much less yank it by 4-5 cars.
I know that anything can happen on the streets, but how do you explain walking a faster car than yours (besides the fact that the guy missed a gear or two)?

i ran into some m90 v6 guys who swear their fully modded GTP's make 400-410rwhp and run low 12's. i never looked into it, and never did care. who knows. the blower itself can make near that number. dont know if the heads can flow it or not. just sayin.
