seems ohio is achieving lingenfelter-type fame and notoriety!! who knew all someone would have to do is slap on a supercharger, some injectors and a filter on an otherwise stock automatic 5.0 to be compared to a world class builder of supercars!!!

some of this has gotten way out of hand

Talking to Chris at circle d he recommends this plus few others. . To keifit wasnt a DD keep daily drivabilty. If was just a track car I would put a 4600 or so in it.

So on a serious note why do you guys keep comparing 5.0s to vettes and not the comparable 5th gen? You had your reign "ls1 vs na 4.6" fords got it now get over it.

Actually... I believe the ls1 still holds the highest dyno records, ETs, etc than the 5.0.

It might change some day... But I think it will be a while.

I hate to do this again but let's not forget that the 4.6 holds the et record over the ls1 and not positive but probably dyno as well

lol, sounds like to achieve that record it would take more time to find the happiest dyno in the country than to build the car. Dyno numbers mean **** anyway so who cares about having a dyno record.

What do you mean it sounds official?

Automach, I was talking stock bottom end. Money can get you anything you desire.

The LS platform is in the 9.1? range on motor, still a 346 bottom end.
Bottom, bottom 8s for stock bottom FI cars, I don't think they have broke 7s yet.

This isn't the highest, but Chrs1313 put down 522?Rwhp through a stalled auto, low gears, built rear, etc.. FAR from a dyno queen, its built for the track.
I think the highest is somewhere in the 53X range.
