Who said anything about a zr1? Do you think a zr1 with 20lb's of boost would run slower than a 5.0 mustang?

With your reasoning the ZR1 that made 720whp in a lighter car should have ran 8's. Not 10.1.

So would it still be pathetic if he got a stall and was able to get in the 10's consistently?

Yeah, but they didn't like the low tourqe that it produced coming out of corners on the track..I think the engine was actually designed by lotus.

So fully loaded, you mean??? Cup holder, cig lighter, power trunk opener etc?? You know, the stuff that is pretty much standard on just about every ****** car known to man on dealer lots now a days!? So you are basically sayin, a 25 pound tool set, maybe 40lb heavier auto tranny, and blower = 500lbs....

Leather seats(20lbs+ more each in front with heaters, about 20 total rear.), Shaker 1000 stereo system compared to base stereo. No weight reduction at all, i.e. sway bar still there, stock radiator support, stock exhaust, stock drive shaft, rear seats, still has bumper pads and stock suspension. And haha cigarette lighters and ash trays are not standard on most cars now a days. Oh and the blower 100lbs. Front rims alone weigh about 35lbs more each then the skinnies did. Rears on manual was about 20lbs each lighter. 3/4 of a tank of gas to the when weighed the manual with 1/8th tank. Plus tranny is about 50lbs heavier.

Was expensive to build. Low end power was decent-the long runners helped. Designed by Lotus and made by Mercury Marine. Wish I kept mine.

You are kidding, right? A little hard on him. That is ******* classic.
In case someone does not realize what this is, I will explain.
Umm, lets see.
"having made your bed and now having to LIE in it"
"egg on face"
"back-peddling, defined as taking back or recanting what was previuosly stated"

Please allow me to quote myself and clarify things a bit:
"I am definitely not a hater of 5.0 and definitely not jealous. If I liked one, I am sure I would have bought one. It is difficult for me to understand what enjoyment Ohio gets spending his time trolling around negatively commenting on other peoples' personal accomplishments. Maybe he is insecure or needs constant attention. Or maybe he is just a douchbag. Either way it is very difficult to go anywhere on this forum without tripping over his big mouth shitty comments. The issue with "Ohio" is he trolls around talking crap. I do not need an ego boost from mocking his grammar/spelling or his remedial grasp of the english language. I do not like him or his keyboard muscles. If he chooses to poke the bees' nest, then he should be able to accept the consequences. Ohio's posts reinforce the fact that HE is looking for an "ego boost". Bragging about what you SHOULD be able to do and his off topic, negative posts do not make him an asset to this GM LS1 based community."

Ohio, as far as wanting to suck your d*ck. I am fairly confident that "92cobranotch" has that covered. Or maybe your sucking his and "heater" is sucking yours. I do not know what is going on down there. You FOMOCO boys have a real special connection.

I am sorry. Actually, I am disappointed in myself for lowering to your level, in the moderator for allowing such comments and most of all with your wife for not taking care of it.

If you want to start something of serious consequence, that is a good way to do it.
