Who said anything about a zr1? Do you think a zr1 with 20lb's of boost would run slower than a 5.0 mustang?

My 5.0 was a base model with weight reduction. It weighed 3580 with me in it. That weight was also before shedding another 60-75lbs or so. Auto is loaded and is just under 4000lbs with me in it. No weight reduction at all. Even had spare in the back and a 290 piece craftsman tool set.

There has been guys doing 10's with bolt on base c6 auto's... Now the thing about it is.. These mustangs are starting to do that... Mustang was supposed to stay in camaro territory not the corvette! Come on gm!

So fully loaded, you mean??? Cup holder, cig lighter, power trunk opener etc?? You know, the stuff that is pretty much standard on just about every ****** car known to man on dealer lots now a days!? So you are basically sayin, a 25 pound tool set, maybe 40lb heavier auto tranny, and blower = 500lbs....

I am sorry. Actually, I am disappointed in myself for lowering to your level, in the moderator for allowing such comments and most of all with your wife for not taking care of it.
