How does the car launch? Do you think you'd benefit from some suspension bits? not sure whats out for mustangs, but they seem to do really well getting out of the hole stock

The manual wheel hoped bad. This one is smooth. I have some lca's for it but have yet to put them on. Also have a new aluminum driveshaft. Still in garage as well.

As far as suspension the have anything you want for it already since everything is same from 05+. Only difference is the k member in front. Which will be out soon from BMR.

Is the aluminum DS going to be strong enough? Surprised you didn't go for a Chromoly or carbon fiber DS. although the chromoly is a probably a little heavier.

Ohio: aren't you supercharged? I recall you saying you were putting a supercharger on it immediately after driving it home from the dealer. What's it make now?

It is SC 10lbs boost with Boss intake and off road x pipe. That is only mods and made 620whp/517wtq with the auto. Stock tranny/stock stall/stock supsension on 18" rims is how it ran at the track. To beat it all I still have temp tags on the car.

wow great numbers! You put your old headers and CAI on it? I wish my GTO's trans/driveline/rearend/axles could handle that kinda power stock: I spent $3k+ so far on the rest of my driveline - and have it on jackstands right now chasing a noise from my "bulletproof" rearend.

No headers at all. STock ones are still on my cxar. Only exhuast mod is off road x pipe and muffler delete. The codl air I have is just the Vortech one that is open filter.

Yes little mods. Its stock car with a blower. LOL

Get shift points perfect are biggest plans right now. I think getting them straight will drop least that .4 I need for a 10.9. After that its gears and a stall.

I had money for stall and gears. But wife decided she wanted to blow almost 7k on a new front room set and TV. Oh well I did get to move up from a 47" LCD flat screen to a 60" LED flat screen.

Nice man.. I like tweaking small things at a time, makes you appreciate it a little bit more IMO.

LOL at TV and room set. We went from a 37" to a 50", HUUUGE difference!!

I don't consider 10#s of boost simple mods.... That would take a bone stock ls1 from 300Rwhp to nearly 550Rwhp and mid 13s to low 11s.

Little mods really add up! LOL

Not with a stock stall/stock suspension/stock gears/stock headers-cat back/18" rims/full weight it isn't going to do low 11's. Seen it this weekend. And look at ilovechevy car on here. HAHA

Well I wasn't just talking about autos.. Even if we were, it is 500$ shipped for a brand new nice converter. 1 mod doesn't go from such little mods to drag car. LOL

They don't come with 18" rims..

Fbody full weight is lighter than a 5.0..

I see no reason a 550Rwhp Fbody couldn't run bottom 11s, there would be something wrong if it couldn't really.

I think you missed point. Just slapping a blower on it like I did you are not going to run low 11's. It is going to need more supporting mods. I didn't. Convertor will easily put me in the 10's. With suspension and everythingv else helping me more and more. And I am an auto.

As far as full weight 5.0's it all depends on what trim level. My manual base was a hair over 3400. Now my loaded auto is almost 3800. Buddies base auto is about 3580.
