I was under the impression that only the G8 GXP had the "GXP" label. I never bothered keeping track of the FWD wannabe NASCAR Pontiac's.

Just like there is tons of modded G8 GT's and GXP's that would no doubt drag you down the freeway. I'm talking stock or near stock here.

If my GTO came with a nascar edition, I wouldn't have bought it. And I actually watch nascar when my father in law comes over, too. BUt the minute they put nascar graphics on a fwd V6 grocery getter you might as well have painted them all with rainbow colors and installed a factory flower pot like the VW bug came with...

Get your story straight, champ. I was defending the 3V Mustang, saying it runs mid 13's in the 1/4 mile. Mid 14's for a 240HP v6 sedan or full size coupe is pretty good. Fastest FWD 3800 V6 ran an 8.8 in the 1/4 mile.

You know what V6 & a GT Mustang have in common?
Neither can break 14s!!![Engarde](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies3/engarde.gif)
I was talking to a guy last year at the track with a Roush Supercharged V6 Mustang. (Very cool car) He was beating his buddies GT all night...still only ran a best of 14.1.
I'm not a Mustang hater though...I really wouldn't mind owning one
But I need a 4-door.
