The only thing to be seen is there is ALOT of but hurt Ford guys on here over my car. What really gets you guys goin is it's deficences and the potential for it to go much faster in the 1/4 with a proper drag set-up. That and there is a whole lot of people that just don't like the truth.
Why does it matter if a that is faster then yours is someones daily driver? Some people daily work vehicles, take the train, jump rope to work, etc. If its a streetable vehicle, I dont see how your argument about the daily driver thing holds any water.
Many people have vehicles that stock would be faster then yours, but that shouldnt matter in the same way if someone dailys a vehicle or not.

I didnt mean for **** to get all crazy, but I felt after that post of yours about Foxes being slow basically that I had to chime in. Although a fun thread, it doesn't need to be blown that out of proportion.
Also, As I said I would, I ran the Honda in the OP's post last night... He took a ton of vids and they should be up soon.
First race, I saw the vid camera and turned the spray on mid gear. We went from about a 55 roll according to my GPS, and he jumped about half a car, bottle came on, and although I raped the progressive, car started sliding aloo over till redline in third, I grabbed fourth at around 110 mph (eigth traps at top third), and put a good 2-3 cars (I think) on the Honda by around 6K in fourth...
Second run, I wanted to see if I could hold it down on motor, because another C5Z from this forum with a 408 was REAL close to the Honda on motor, and I just beat the C5Z by 2-3 cars after the first run with the Honda... So I lined up, and they slowed down to like 40, and just took off (racing another new 5.0 on spray)

Third run, I got to 60, and he was brake boosting and couldnt hear my horn... I stopped honking and they took off. I am pretty quick on the reaction but I hit the throttle too hard and started skating in third on motor... didnt hook till near 90, and he had a full car at least on me. What I was proud of was that I did fetch in fourth, almost got around him (I was at the mirror and charging hard), but the Honda runs out of gear at 138, and I can go about 145ish... I through 5th for the f of it and took off, but that's not fair as I too have been gear limited in a race before.
Gotta give it up for the lil car, it's dang fast for what it is... Ran a lot better last night than in the vids first posted, as I know for a fact I could keep up with the Camaro and Fox on motor as well.
(btw, I was in a 2008 cammed/geared/exhaust Vette, not the Foxes...

Thank you very much sir, I dont believe the front to be an issue as Ive been near 200 in this car when it only made 640 rw... I hope to be able to go about 210 in the mile in it, but over 200 would be sweet... My friend's Viper went 208 with 940ish? Ill be lighter and about the same power when I try it in a year or so, just gotta make sure the car is dialed in before I risk it.

They had one in South TX somewhere near Houston, but they moved it... I think its near Austin now.
Car isn't finished yet, but it is in the plans. Probably before I change the suspension up, as the car will probably want to fly off the tarmac with the drag suspension...

I'm pretty new to this site. This thread sure has been a fun read. Hio has me lollerskating. First off, good vid that Fox IS bad and so are the other 2. I will agree that the SS and S2K are good 60 roll cars. The Fox obviously runs AMAZING on its setup.
As, I was reading this thread I saw something that made me lowl extra hard. Where in the hell do you find the pixy dust that makes a STOCK LS7 push a DD Fbody to 135 traps?? Seeing as how a 3150lb C6Z traps like 125 in stock form. If it was full bolt on HCI, i could see it maybe....IJS

Record for a bolt-on ls7 is 9.97@137.xx. With a best trap of 138. My car currently traps between 126-130 with a bolt-on ls6. Plus 100 rwhp.......and even you can do the math.

I'm having trouble beliving that a full weight intake, exhaust, tune only C6Z went 9.97 @ 138 sir. Even if it had a crazy drivetrain and some tires fashioned by the savior himself, driven by the savior himself I'm going to call bull **** unless there is a good bit of spray involved. But that would NOT be stock lol. 9.97 @ 138 i could see in a full bolt on pullied ZR1...but we aren't talking about an LS9 either....

I'm sure it had full bolt-ons and some weight reduction. There are vids on here of the car. Like I said I go between 126-130 with a bolt-on ls6. A stock ls7 should make 100rwhp more. That should equate to 7-9 mph more.
