brand new chra basically.
and... umm the tune well like i said 12.1-12.2 afrs 19 degrees of timing no knock... tune seems fine to me.
this is a 2500mile motor, and trust me its good lol.

can i ask you this?... how come on any dsm sites that ive seen. VERY FEW people are in the 400s on the 20g?....

im just wondering why your thinking that i should be in the 400s and most everyone else thinks im right where i should be.
there is a ton of people that made over 400whp with a 20g. The power you say your making at your boost level is Evo 16g territory lol. If you don't like your turbo just get another one. But honestly your power level is low even for that turbo at the boost you're running.

1650 is over kill for a Hx35. You just need 1000 or 1100's. I run 1600's with a 70mm turbo on e85. My boy makes over 859 awhp with 1600's. There is no need for them on a tiny Hx35. Where are you getting your information from lol?

I'm just curious... 4 the people you know makin 400whp with a 20g what kinda fuel setups are they running? I know mitsu 20g's on STi's make 350-375 range... If he is maxing his IDC's he should fall short of the power due to not enough fuel...
I don't know Talon's but its better to ask and clarify then speak and look like an azz...lol

Subuaru's are garbage. They have a a 2.5L but for some reason they dont make power lol.

I called Hahn racecraft today and they agreed he should be over 400whp on e85 at 28psi lol. especially a fwd car lol. A Super 20g is good up to 33psi and will make 450awhp on a bone stock motor. I have seen it with my own eyes. Over 430awhp on a super 20G back in 2006 around his boost level. As for the fuel there are ways to get around it if he gets to or over 100% idc. But all he needs is 1000 or 1100 for a hx35 **** even a hx40.

But ive said my piece I wish him luck with whatever he decides.

I gotcha... don't know where the Subaru hate came from but i know plenty of Subie's makin over 500whp.. Its only one Talon in my area i am concerned about but i think he is running a GT42r on E85... other than that i laugh at Mitsu's... Maybe you can help him out. His car pulls pretty good from the vid but if he gets it right he can run side by side with that Vette... Vid of one our local Talons puttin in work in Cancun...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVSueKnDWsg

Would you expect similar numbers from a T04B 50-trim? That's what I'm running now (with a .63 T3 hotside), and I'm just trying to figure out where I'll be once I throw 1000cc injectors in (I'm maxing the **** out of Evo 560s at the moment), along with perhaps some 272s and a SMIM.

my bad i dont hate subies but i was at the 2011 subaru shootout and i think my car was like the 3rd fastest there lol. For the most part mod for mod they just don't make the HP a DSM or Evo makes. A DSM with a 70mm 42R on E85 is no joke lol.

I think a 50 trim makes a tad bit more than a 20g. Add cams etc you could hit 500whp

my information comes from calculating fuel injectors for my setup and the fact taht i might as well buy it and never have to downgrade. i could run 1650s make 600+whp in the future and be low IDCs. of course i could prolly just get some 1250s but. whatever.

idk what the deal is, mabye my boost gauge is all wrong and i need it calibrated or sumthng. im not exactly sure. ill see whats up and try and figure something else. if u have link. ill post a log for u?

I run AEM. I have no idea how to read link log but if you want ill pass it on to someone that does. Did you do a boost leak check?

Its all good homie...lol. True fact Mitsu's take to mods like a duck to water but my STi takes care of them. Built motor and a GTX35R and most are no prob... Its the guys that come out on slicks i worry about...lol. I think the Talon with the 42R runs in the low 9's- high 8's... I am out of the racing phase and more into the cruisin on a nice day...lol
think i'm gettin old...smh

im at about 90% IDC so thats as high i wanna go. but the car felt GOOD. i mean to pick up .3 from 70-90 is a nice gain. it doesnt feel like the slug that it did against the vette.
what did your 30r at 30psi put down or trap?.i know the 30r is bigger but i am just curious.
Never dyno'd it on 30psi. Made 370whp on 25psi with no timing (literally could not pull any more timing, the sliders were maxed out on Link..i think it had like 6* BTDC lol) because my tuner was a jackass.

I did one log on the street, knew the .7 degree flecks of knock were just sensor noise, added a bunch of timing and 5psi boost and it was a completely different car from when it dyno'd 370. I never went back to the dyno, but from the seat of the pants it was a very substantial gain.

Good runs man. I had a 400whp GSX money pit when I was younger. Most unreliable car ever, always blowing off IC pipes and vacuum lines, constantly messing with DSMlink to get the tune right.

When you start making more $ you're gonna want something better so stop dumping cash into that FWD DSM. Once I bought a C6 there was no looking back. Super reliable, sexy and 28 mpg on freeway.

Torque is what's fun, and 400 of it at 2500 rpm is a blast for a daily driver, something imports can never do. Props for a daylight vid, good runs.

No ****. It's not the car's fault that its owner can't buy and tighten a T-bolt clamp.

I should have gone into more details, my fault.....out of 5 or so DSMs my friends and I had, only one or two would be running at the same time. Tranny issues, clutch issues, crankwalk issues, ignition problems, wouldn't start until cooled down, cracked manifolds, wastegate issues, heatsoaked FMICs and these were all quality parts, not ebay ****. I could go on, but def most unreliable car ever. Whenever we see a DSM on the street or at a meet, we have to point out that it's actually running and not in someones shop, kinda like a unicorn.

Again, we used high quality parts, high end turbos and the best shops/tuners in the area known for DSMs. Everyone I've met since then at meets who use to have one always talks about what a unreliable pain in the *** it was, one guy bought an EVO and even put IH8DSMS on the plate...lol.

Again, I'm not bashing the car, just recounting my experiences with them. Still respect the car for what it can do, and some of the good times I had smoking V8s on the street.
