My Talon vs lS3 C6 I know i know. I drive a talon...
But ls1tech seems to be one of the only online forums that is constantly buzzing with stuff, and is a site full of all the cars i want to beat
so, i am here.
Heres a list of mods
95 TSI talon
FWD
rebuilt 2.0 motor
20g turbo
3 inch dump
stock internals just new
e85
tuned by me on DSMlink which is basically a piggyback, but a very in depth and fully capable one.
in this run i was running 25psi falling to 20psi.preturbo leaks. but no excuses its how i ran the car so.
Im ESTIMATING. im in the 330-360whp range. (hard to say because of boost loss etc.) but ive never been to a dyno, this is all airflow/fuelconsumption/IDC etc. benchracing BS. lol

I will shortly be on 28psi ( already fixed the preturbo stuff) and will hopefully be running him again.
40ish mph rolls hes honking.
no speed limits were broken, computer generated speed.
Id love to run anyone with an ls1/lt1/ls2/ls3 or stock ls6. (i dont think on 28psi im coming anywhere near ls7s so.)
Not a ricer just chose 4 cylinders and a turbo over 8. Never had enough coin in my pocket to buy a ls1 car outright so. lol
LSx cars are fast, so for me to be within 4 cars of one makes me feel pretty happy lol. should be alot closer when on 28psi.

BTW i dont know if u guys compare xxmph-xxmph times based on datalogs. but my 70-90 on 24psi is 2.69xxx
a 430rwhp c6. is comparable to what in a Fbody? (trying to set up some good races for your viewing pleasure lol)

lol. not saying he didnt freight train me at all lol. i mean hell prolly 60+whp more, in a car that only weighs maybe 400 more?... (my dsm is a 2900lb car) i was just happy to make it somewhat a race instead of a flyby lol.
and as for digs lol.... im a FWD not awd ;( lol.
he said he trapped i think 116 in the 1/4. seems kinda low? i thought i heard them trapping that stock but i am probably mistaken.

I don't know why your putting yourself down so much, there are plenty of people on here who don't own LSx cars. Just becuase you don't own an American car doesn't mean we think your a ricer! Lol.
You seem like you have a good head on your shoulders and some common sense. We're only mean to the people who act like jackasses haha. Anyways
Your car seems to run well for what power you have. I like the daytime vid, why was the sound so fuzzy though? LS3 C6's are pretty quick, and have good top end. He did pull you pretty good lol.

i have a friendly race with a friend whos on here.
ls2 gto boltons gears 364whp i think.

That was a whooping. Like a 1 second+ in the 1/4 mile difference whooping. You had best take on bolton only LS1 fbodies (fbodies are the camaro's and firebirds from 2002 and earlier). It might seem like you weren't that far off from matching him in the video, but trust me when I tell you that you are that far off from matching him.

well sticksnstones. i know lol it was definately a wooping. i believe i was only logging in the 35lbs/min of peak airflow on these runs. which is a big difference from my normal 39-40lbs/min of airflow at 25psi, when it holds steady all the way. so i shall rematch(if he will) and see what 5lbs/min of airflow(possible 40-50hp) can do.

i think now that youve fixed the issues and able to run him again it will be a close race. I know in the vid you posted as mentioned above 4 cars is a whoopin but i still think you will do really well 2nd time around. Ive gone against a stock LS3 M6 with me having full bolt ons and 75 shot and was able to pull about 1-1 1/2 cars. They are blazing fast no doubt and full bolts ons, just hard to beat. I give you respect because even though you lost you posted it and its a clean vid either way good job OP.

Agreed. Heck there are some cam only LS1's throwing down near 400rwhp

Another thing fix them Damn boost leaks lol. On a stock 14b I was making 250 whp and 275ft/lbs at 17psi on 93oct. A 20g at 25psi on e85 should be close to or at 500whp.
