No i was talking about the ls3 camaro, it walked all over an ls1 camaro that trapped 119

I guess alot of people are confused by some factors.

First yes my car went a 10.9 at 127.7 i didnt even go full throttle till about 7-8 mph into the pass and was a SHITTY 1.73 60 foot, for example i was doing 1.61 60 foots last night. Got to make a few passes at the local track trying to get the car re learned and 60's down but got the boot so i havent been able to go back.
and please let me know the G8 you know of that went 11.1 in his g8, since im on all the g8 forums and don't think i've seen the car.



Anyway IIRC the Camaro weighed around the 30xx or 31xx area so its "pretty" light.

In the exact trim you see me in the video car is 4020lbs with 1/4 tank and without driver so its not light.

Also the ls3 car is a 4000 yank in a 4l60e so i BET it would put down closer to high 400 thru a t-56 for example.

Having a correct setup in the car makes a HUGE difference. A example is i ran a local 408 Camaro conv. that made 525 and trapped 122 and i ran away from the car like it wasn't moving.

IF you plug in my Trap speed on not that even great of a pass you will get a EST. 630-660 HP

And one more FYI i run a FULL slick which hurts mph a little also

Most people don't even look into that stuff they just see HP numbers and assume things.

They don't think about weight/setups.

Also give give some ideas on something here is Parish's G8 he had

Was a cammed Twin turbo e85 and so on car.
717rwhp(12psi), 10.82@129(13psi)
1.68 60ft

Chill. I'm not saying that G8 sucks. I just thought I had seen other G8's with less power go faster, so I was thinking a few setup tweaks and it would prolly be even better.

Also, I love the SS wheels on that G8...very good choice.

Rome wasn't built in a day but it sucks getting booted from the local track. Yea i was just trying to shed some light on the whole RWHP and Trap speeds since some people were saying my car was off.

And Daniel is now a 408 TT setup..looking to get everything right for 9's.

Devilish now has a a C6 vette, his G8 also had a cam. Same for number 4, and 5 on the list I know for sure. Plus Wrecjwriter has a lot of weight reduction if remember right.

The car is sweet I guess I would just want more for how much power its making. Would make a crazy daily but I like my go kart for play time lol.

My TT G8 went a tick under 125mph, dyno'd 540/600. Stock cam and stall.

...but I can only net a 11.6x. Car doesnt get out of it's own way with 2.92 gears and a 1400 stall.

Weight makes a HUGE difference at speed.

one day people will understand theres a lot more to going fast then just hp. Cant even tell you how many boosted cars with over 600whp lost to my 443whp stalled NA GTO.
