Mustang-390hp 3400lb
Civic- 545hp 2400lb

I don't believe that he didn't turn up the boost. It just doesn't make sense.

Sure. Only if Hio agrees to be photographed with it driving it. Nice to see you again and congrats on being a parent in the future.

He can't. Running on pump and Mach bottom end cant really handle more power in terms of boost.

H4RD, the Mach most likely got his power to the ground. I highly doubt this 2400lbs fwd Honda was getting anywhere near 545hp to the ground on the street. If both got the power to the ground the Honda would trap 25+mph higher.

545hp at 2400lbs would(should) trap around 140

500whp in a non gutted civic is good for mid 130 traps. So 545 trapping in the 140s is definitely plausible.

my statement was directed at this car. it won by a car and a half against a mustang that traps 122-123. a 140 traping car
would have put several busses on said mustang.

Let me know when you get it tuned so I can make the trip up and take it for a spin

With a pulley and a tune, I bet it's gonna be a BEAST in the Fox if you can get it all to the pavement.

i heard of a local honda here making 550ish whp and weighing in around 2200lbs (not sure raceweight or wo driver...driver prob weighs 120) and it trapped mid-high 140s

any honda making 500+ whp is going to skullfuck a 440whp 3200+lb car, peaky powerband or whatthefuckever. there was clearly something wrong with the car in this video, it should have made swiss cheese out of that muffdain.

Both of them "should of", but they didn't. The 4-door got beat bad, but the video sucked. The hatch did win but not by much..still waiting on the video.

May not need the 7 in it with a little more tinkering that's about to happen on the 6.

Not trying to make excuses, but my clutch in my Cobra is slipping at the track and that is the only place I race.

I want a Mcleod RXT to put back in it...but I can't rationalize spending that kind of money when I just put this Centerforce dual friction in it last summer
