I did search and only found the one. I'm not going to put any real effort into it, that's why I asked how the the Machs were doing to which you replied with a vidieo full of fail. But in the physics based world that we live in, the larger displacement you start with the more potential you have. There is a reason that Top Fuel dragsters aren't 281s.......

You need to read my posts. I am not one of those people who bought the car with unlimited funds to turn it into a race car. I bought it as a compromise to a problem. This price thing is irrelevant. Apparently, you are not getting it. So unless you have somthing that you can that can show stock v stock or mod v mod to decisively support one way or the other, I'm not interested.

Yeah but thats because Chrysler got a lock on the Top Fuel market a long time ago. Not saying Top Fuel would run mods if they could, but thats the reason you dont see any variety in Top Fuel. NHRA is scared of innovation. Im not a Ford guy by any means, and not trying to defend them. But you should know that the fastest Modular cars are quite a bit faster than the fastest LSx cars. Personally I think thats because noone has really tried putting a 3000hp Proline LSx twin turbo into a Pro Mod chassis but still. Accufab has been 6.08 with a Mod. And I can definitely tell you Modulars have been much much faster than any new-gen Hemi.

So Ford's top fuel teams run 281s? There are TONS more modded modulars out there. I never said there aren't modular cars that aren't faster or with more power. Theblacknitels1 gave a vid example of a car that didn't make the claim. Fact is MOST people who drive SRT8s are not modding them to race. Simple supply and demand, the demand is not high so the mod variety is limited and expensive due to the R&D required. So if one has more money than brains they can buy their way to the podium in any car.
