G8 Vs SL55, E55 Estate and Cressida
Only had one camera on me and I thought the mb's would start walking me so I pointed the camera forward.
Edit: Im hearing its a 2jz cressida with a 7xmm turbo. Not sure, just hearing things little by little.
E55 Estate, 40 mph...kinda seems to be a dead spot for me.
1jz swap Cressida, dont know supporting mods. Again from a low 40 roll.
Cressida again, a little higher into the 40s seemed to help me.
SL55, 1st gear roll
SL55, second pull again from 1st
SL55, 40 mph roll...my car just doesnt do well from 40.

Nice runs!
And as far as the toyota, you'd have to have one damn fast G8 to beat that thing if it was in fact a 2JZ with a 7X mm turbo. A freind of mine has a 2JZ in a nissan 240sx with a 67mm and he's running 10.8's at 135 mph....I'd have to imagine that little toyota weighs about the same.

I saw how I did against the amg's which generally trap 116 give or take so I know Im not capable of beating a 2jz anything with a decent size single turbo. Im sure when he throws more boost at it Ill get a phone call.
Mods on g8 are intake, headers and a custom spec blower cam.

Not sure, the owner claims the wagon runs about 300 lbs more than a sedan but there was also an e55 sedan out this night and the wagon and sedan did a pull and the wagon looked like it was ahead.
I know its the interwebs but this guy posted a slip, so far its the only thing I see 1/4 mile about a wagon specifically. Cant even find anything on mbworld.

Yeah I love the fact that its a wagon and that he runs, really cool guys with the amg's out here. He said its extremely rare, I believe he said under 300 for the e55's. I also know of a black e63 estate in Brooklyn but I never see it move.
Obligatory crappy cell phone pics. I wanna get some daytime ones as I never see these things.

E55, Magnum SRT8, CTS-V, I'm a huge fan of all the performance wagons!
I think he's referring to the fact that a lightweight car in those circles is under 2500 lbs. I was talking to a guy last weekend who was saying that his car still weighed like 2200 lbs and would never be very light

Yeah I guess the crown victoria comment threw me off, even those appear to be right at or a hair lighter than us. Everyone around here claims my evo is a light weight car thats why 3,400 or less seems light to me.
