2013 1SS vs 2011 GT

Please bish. That 6 spd auto in the 5.0 has far better roll race ratios:
1st. 4.17. 2nd. 2.34. 3rd. 1.52. 4th. 1.14.
Sooooooooo disadvantaged............especially with that torque converter added to those ratios amirite?
News flash to the 'ol guard. The autos these days have better ratios than the M6s out there, and at least 3.xx rear gears. This isn't 1998 where **** had 3.06:1, 1.63:1, 1:1 and thats it through a pair of 2.73s. Autos used to suck at 40 rolls and above because they had to start out in damn near M6 3rd gear (1.63:1 for GM Autos). The tables have turned. The ratios are up and the torque converter doesn't do them any bad favors either. Stock autos suffer from lazy shifting (torque management) yes, but the torque multiplication from lower speeds can help make up for that a bit.
People around here needz da science. It's popular to just agree to someone saying "autos can't roll", but if your going to say that, feel free to back up WHY you think that with more than just "uhhh cuzz this one time, in band camp, a 5.0 auto lost to a 5th gen".
