I have seen 113 with only 75lbs out with just intake, gears, and full exhaust with a hand held diablo tune at that.. Mine did 112 with 150lbs out with mild boltons made 298.

I'm not sure if you forgot, but Mach 1s decimate all

When my GTO was headers/tune I raced a full bolt on 315whp Mach-1... I think it was somewhere around 9-14 carlengths that I won by. I can't remember, but it was a pretty wide margin.

He would have definitely needed another 100whp to make it interesting.

Yeah I really don't think a lot of GTOs get the amount of respect they deserve. Most owners around here do light bolt-ons and stick with the stock tune. I know on both LS1 and LS2 auto GTOs that even just a tune makes a world of difference! GM is super conservative on torque management, etc on stock tune auto cars

GTOs suck

Watching old races make me miss that thing. Giving bikes the jump and spinning on the hit.

^ sure, just ask automach. He will reply, "I really don't have much weight out, just gutted the trunk, took out the rear seats, have one kirky for the driver, removed crash bars and a/c, also bigs and littles, but really its pretty much full weight."

And still offers no info on his mega build....other than he can take his car apart for weight reduction.

Mach 1s are super cereal business bro. You'd think they were all building single digit cars or something

Pretty much every mach1 owner I ever met had a mouth that ran way faster than their car.

Same with gto owners juice... Hiho what would you like to know? Converter was to small so I had to send it back to circle d that's what I am waiting on..At the time it went 112 it was a 3300lb car it is currently 3100 far from a gutted out race car without a/c lol I would be mad to if the little outdated bolt on 4.6 could accomplish what the 6.0 gto does with boltons.

Dude no one is mad about Mach-1's except Mach-1 owners... They have to fabricate all this **** about how fast they really aren't. It reminds me of the southpark episode where everyone is mad about their small penises.

Clearly a bolt on GTO is > or = a 415whp blown Mach-1. Bolt on Mach doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell, as I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt on many occasions.

So it took you some fair amount of weight reduction to get to 112?

You never did post up any dyno numbers on that beast. I would think before someone went out swapping converters they would have a et of the one they had.

How so it is low 3400s stock. Went mid 7s 8th falling on its face. Also found out car is not as radical as first thought 11:1 compression and 24x/23x cams and stock ported heads.
