Just an FYI you're quoting someone talking about motors yet talking about specific vehicles...You're saying the ls3 in general isn't a capable platform? Gonna have to disagree there hence why you were specific in mentioning the camaro not the vette or the motor by itself.

Yeah put a decent motor in a heavy enough car and it won't really astound anyone lol...same deal with my friends truck with a 5.3, not really that fast but my friend has one in his notch back and the car flies....different mods, different weights...same motor.

Its not about street cars it is about what the fastest of each has to offer. That tells what platform is superior more so then this one time I beat a mustang in my ls1. Not sure what he had done but this must mean lsx is superior becuase I won bs

You can argue all out superiority all you want, but at the end of the day, what matters to me is a street car. I see few 4v guys around here running 11s at the track. Most are mid 12s

For the most part it does hold a advantage but it is not as cheap as some make it out to be.
