Depends on the vette... zr1..nothing. But that car also costs double the money. Be pretty badass to see them bring back the GT with the same powerplant.

Id still take a Z06 over any of them.

Over rated imo. Motors tend to be very finicky and the chassis was not very stiff.

Older sho's were poop. I don't even consider cars that cost $175k like the GT....although I would love to have one of those and swap a ls in it. Contours were a joke fwd car with only little better performance than a normal Contour, which was'nt great.
Over rated imo. Motors tend to be very finicky and the chassis was not very stiff.

I also like the lighter weight and featurelessness of the car. Its all performance, no creature comforts. Something Chevy should do...

Motors were one of the strongest motors ever produced. But there were too many idiots out there who took it for granted and were garbage with tuning/setups. The most hack setups ive ever seen... were on them. While i agree the chasis of the car could have been better designed... still were no joke. Should have come out of the factory with solid axles and texid blocks... shave an easy 200lbs.

Gt40 is also like 5yrs older than a zr1. Not even comparable when it comes to comparing the exotic qualities of a gt40.

^I could give a crap less about either car. Hell I'd probably buy the gt500 over the zl1 just because I like it a little better. All I'm saying is the zl1 ain't that bad considering it's down 100hp. Dissect what you want but I could give a **** less really. Alot of slow cars in here seem to talk the most **** eh?
The gt500 is a beast of a car, but for all its power it really isnt a 1/4 beast nor is it out handling the heavier Zl1 around road courses.
12.1@117 is far from slow for a stock vehicle on an air strip. I didnt know when we all became z06 owners and could look down upon a f body that turns that time stock.
