The civic was tuned by JK Tuning in PA. And it didn't make 450. It was 443 on 16lbs.

lol oops looks like i upset the HIO nutswinger again. You mean to tell me you cant figure out a general idea on how strong a car is by sound? A 250whp honda and a 500whp honda sound like 2 COMPLETELY different cars.

Im not trying to take anything away from HIO. Hes trapped 130. That in itself says how strong his car is so who cares about any street race. But realistically... a 400+whp honda.... typically around 2000 lbs(the norm) will trap north of 130... hell ive seen in person at the track, a 550whp honda trap 149. For the power that honda makes, even if hio jumped out hard on it, it should have come by it. But even the chase car passed the honda. But i wasnt there so im not gonna pick it apart.

What motor is in that honda... because to get that kinda power, you usually need a lot more boost then 16lbs. Im not gonna discuss the sound thing anymore. If you guys think a car with 250whp and 500whp sound the same... yea... moving on

WHP in a Honda doesn't dictate traps either especially if it has a huge turbo that results in a terrible powerband which is clearly the case here. In fact when that Honda was 500 at the wheels it ran about the same which is odd.

I am not even going to comment on how that car doesn't sound 450 HP....

As stated at the beginning of the thread, Its a 2.0l. He bought my itr block, had it sleeved. B16 head. so on and so on. I believe it made over 400, but it is very peaking and has a narrow power band.

If you like to make a trip near or around winchester , I can show you the differance from 250hp and 500 hp. Or you can check out a stock Mach 1 on just 7 psi.

when did i say that 250hp is what 16lbs will get you.. Jesus ******* christ. Another person putting words in my mouth. Mother of god. I said 16lbs seems like a very low amount of boost for the 443whp claimed. Never did i say it will only get you 250whp.

I got to MIR for private track rentals which is usually Friday day or Cecil Saturdays for test and tune. I am outside of Baltimore when I am at my MD home.

They won't let me race with a cast though


HIO goes to MIR sometimes but mostly he and Mach do Mason Dixon which sucks

It has a Precision 62/62 turbo. Petty much the same set up as last time. They had it on 22lbs to make the 500, but it didnt last.
