I think his point was that Hio said that the engine had been "built," when it hasn't.

So then would it be fair to compare Hio's car to a stock car if you can't compare it to a purpose built car?

Of course it is. Hio has to be right some how. I mean all the lengths he went to cut weight and his isn't purpose built.

besides if you could comprehend I said the street vs track is the same as you. You should step out of your ego....the new 5.0's are good. But w/o utilizing their gearing, rear and traction at the track they are not as spectacular as alot think they are. But they are one of the best cars Ford has ever made IMO.
Keep ******* that chicken.

More bullshit. I have trapped 125 several times in my own street car. Here is a list of other street cars who have done the same:
http://www.modularfords.com/f259/bol...gt-5-a-185818/ These cars all have A/C, power windows/locks, full stereo, etc...

You really show your ignorance when it comes to the 5.0 and what it has accomplished at the track.

Im not going to even bother reading this thread. The last few posts have summed up what is happening. Seems like every new 5.0 thread on ls1tech goes to hell and ends up as a flame war. Topic should be banned here as its clear we apparently can't handle it like men. To the OP if you won congrats the 5.0 most certainly isn't god and is beatable and if you lost oh well get some more mods and go at it again.

So your tellin me the this latest 5.0 is .6 faster than the other fastest 5.0 that was a racecar too and both were stock.....yea whatever. Man some of you other 5.0 guys are terrible slow by your own expectations. I think I would work on that before I would go picking on me and my DD.

As far as you ohio....I have yet to have any of my hacked up parts fail.....so they must be perty good which is more than anyone can say for some of these broke aftermarket k-members. Which is why I did it the way I did it. If you can't understand that you should keep your mouth shut.

WBT....you need to go work on your junk cause now your .8 off the record. BTW your record run says 122. So far there is 1 125 car on that list and it ain't you. That is the car I read about in the Ford mag, it was a full on race car.

Where is the new record setter on that list.

Talk about reading comprehension issues.....

Let's visit my car for a moment:
Quickest/fastest stock long block automatic bolt-on 2011+ 5.0:

125MPH passes:

My passes listed were all run in 1,400+ DA.

The difference in the list I linked and the 10.29 car is the cars on the list are DD street cars. The 10.29 car is a special purpose built shop/race car that will compete in NMRA Coyote Stock class. Yes it now holds the record for quickest/fastest stock long block 5.0 however for the 10.29 pass it was running a tune and a CAI running in negative DA. It also weighed in at 3,000lbs. The DD street cars all hover around 3,500-3,600lbs. When the 10.29 car competes in it's class, it has to be using a stock tune, stock airbox and weight added.

The 10.29 car isn't on the linked list because it is not a street car.

It all makes sense now doesn't it? ...or it should to most.

Also the car was apparently on some other fuel than pump and a trans that did not come in the car.

The Eric@jpc dude says it's pretty much a stock engine. In NMRA terms that don't mean a production engine.

It is a regular production 5.0 that is sealed at the factory with tamper proof seals to be legal to race in the NMRA Coyote Stock class. Nothing special.

They were using e85 for fuel and a T-5 transmission.

Yes the engine is a bone stock, factory sealed motor.

Class rules are here: http://www.nmradigital.com/cat/class...012/COYOTE.pdf

...all it takes is some simple searching to educate yourself.

Here is a link to the sealed version. It cost $10 more than the regular 5.0. I highly doubt Ford is doing a whole lot of engine tricks/tuning for $10 more.

Here we.go again cause it uses e85. And your.retarded *** don't. Not no one fault but yours.

And it has a swapped tranny. **** you have a swapped engine. **** you think if.going to swap engines you would have went better from the go. Not just keep talking about the ls7 your.building.

Hacking up parts claiming they are safe is stupid. Just plain stupid. And you need punched in the face for claiming that.

Your car 60ft like **** is your own fault. Guess your not the super race car builder you claim.

1.7 60foots on a 10 bolt is impressive especially in an M6.
