It looks like a fun class to get into. No engine mods allowed at all. Basically how fast can you go with a bone stock 5.0 engine at 3200 lbs with full exhaust? It all comes down to chassis & suspension setup.

Just cause your to stupid to know the difference between a good part and a bad one or lack the ability or ingenuity to build a part don't mean I can't MR 700hp and can't get out of the upper 10's. You oughta punch yourself in the face for that much amount of FAIL. Do you even realize how many race cars run modified stock parts?? Maybe you should put your car back to stock because you shouldn't be modifieing anything

I don't have a drag car dude.....as a matter of fact I'm probably gonna autox it next weekend. So as you can see 60' is not my priority or I would be putting my fab 9 in that day. Even with it the car will not be optimized for 60'ing MR can't drive a stick so traded for a auto.


The sealed motors are a cool deal. Alot of other sanctioning bodies allow blue printing of those types of engines or have been blue printed before sealed. FYI, there are ways around certain seals.

It don't always...lol The r&p seems to be ok now but I'm afraid if I put good axles in it then the r&p will break, and it's easier to fix a axle.

It would be a very cool class for someone wanting to go race. But with all racing $$$ will win. Eventually you'll get guys buying several engines to dyno and keep the better ones.

Ohioborn, fyi you shouldnt talk **** about homade parts that are "sometimes" beter than aftermarket. I offered hiho money to duplicate his kmember for me after i seen it drift a 40 mph turn at 90+ kmember is solid. Mine has bmr only because he whined and said to much work to duplicate. How ever he will lighten my front lcas, and they will be lighter than aftermarket over priced "race car" hime joint junk. Can he be a d**k face? Sure can! But has nothing to do with his skill. Keep buying parts cause you cant make them. Is he bias? Maybe sometimes lol. But call it what it is 5.0s arent a LS botom line. Whats fastest a new 5.0 has been on manifolds and stock gear? Just curious if anyone knows please post.

He will be doing mine after OC!!!! He told me to **** off too about the K member I got to get up there before Thursday to pick up my wing and beg to get my LS6 ported...

Upper 10's? My car went 10.60@131 with 620whp not 700. And just improved on the 1/8 from 6.78@102 to 6.62@104 on the same tune same whp. Still full leather premuom interior. Weighing 3800lbs. Yep pretty good. Imagine if I had it weighing 3000 like you.

I like the new 5.0's too. Probably the best car Ford has ever made IMO. I just think they have barely caught the ls stuff and are definitely not better. Like some would have us believe.

10.5 and up is upper 10's....duh. Not my problem you wanna drive a tank. You have 700+ at the crank right???. Imagine my car with 620 rwhp Hell I'm thinkin I'm gonna run around a 10.5 with a stock ls7 and in my autox trim and around 510rwhp+/-
