Ya exactly, its a real budget build. Not much of a H/C setup, compared to what people usually think of when they think of H/C.

There are some happy dyno's out there... I be very doubtful if a cam only ls2 c6 would be close to lilmillers c6..

07silverado made 458whp cam only and VaderZ51 both made over 443whp in 100+* dyno room cam only.
Plus plenty on Corvette forum 430-450whp is pretty normal

Casey had the stock intake when he had his car tuned.. that would hold down any car from making powa... I'm curious what those cam only ls2's would made with a stock intake

Thats why I just said it was bare bones and isnt much of a H/C setup lol, because cam only cars have made more. I'm not gonna debate how much they would make with a stock CAI lol. People expect more out of it when they shouldn't for what it is

And to 00SilverGTP you got a budget build too, but lilmiller listed his mods and has a small cam with a stock CAI

I can assure you there are cam-only LS2 C6's that would have no problem running with that car. I have witnessed multiple cam only cars put down more than the OP so its definitely not a "happy dyno" thing.

And after reading thru this entire thread I did not see one person take anything away from the 5.0. I am fully aware of what a bolt-on/E85 Coyote should do. I just traded one. The car was quick but not on par with a strong H/C LS2 vette. Vette should easily be able to trap 125+ in the quarter with heads/cam/intake.

u have milled heads, ported intake/tb, udp, and a bigger cam compared to Lilmiller tho.

Im not ******* his car or trying to just point it out, so it ain't trying to be made a bigger deal than it should that this 5.0 ran with a H/C C6 when really it wasn't much of a H/C C6 they both run good for the mods

From my experience, you shouldn't have much of a problem. Hell a cam only C6 would be handful for a bolt-on 5.0 in all honestly.

A properly set up cam only c6 is more than a handful for a bolt on 5.0. I trapped 125 when I was cam only at 460rwhp.

Yep, a buddies LS2 C6 put down 470 with SNL v.X cam and full bolt-ons, stock untouched 243's. Car was trapping in the 126-127 range.

What type of "budget" build are you doing that takes so long to complete? I've been waiting for 2 years now to see this thing in action.
