That could be the slight difference.
Are we talking N/A?

that's just wild to get those kinds of numbers out of a 302 cubic inch 5.0 liter motor. rear wheel, dyno'd...... just amazing.

That didn't go so well, so he went and bought the boss intake, added e85, and bought some racestars...lol and this race was the result.
Did he make the 420 on e85?

Well that's impressive, very, very impressive. I wouldn't have expected to see those kinds of number until upwards of 8Gs, like a NASCAR engine.

efficient cylinder heads my friend. Its just technology. Give it another 10 years. The new technology will make these motors look like the old stock 302s

Sounds like your dyno might be on par with mine. Full bolt on dyno tuned GT(included boss intake) on mine made 410whp on 93 octane.

Yep for $70k in 1999, what a deal. Just imagine what BMW could do with DOHC, VVT and 6.2 liters. Probably eek out more that 426 hp.

Every dyno is different. I made 464whp.with my manual 5.0 GT with full bolt ons and 93 revving to 7800. They now have been revving the regular 5.0 to 8200 rpms with no issues. A boss engine should make least 20-25whp more then a GT both full bolt ons. A lot things depend though. Mainly who is tuning it. I have seen two full bolt on GT's make 20whp on same dyno difference. Only difference was the tune its self. They had the same setup.

Buddies boss in TX with lt's, catted x, cold air, mail tune, just made 415whp. Still a conservative tune. He then had it dyno tuned and gained 16whp and made over 430whp. Still stock throttle body on 93.

A lot shops have said they TB doesn't gain crap on the boss or GT. All the record.setting 5.0's and boss's still run factory TB 's.

Yes the 5.0 in this vids mods are exzactly this.

Jlt cai
Boss intake
lethal off road h-pipe
flowmaster axleback
E85
AED TUNE.....makes 422/369.

The tune is very safe and the car has a lot left in it exhaust wise. I mean did people miss where this 5.0 ran door to door with the c6 making 447? The 5.0 also beat a G8 making 470-603.....the 5.0 is fast.

Probably has another 15-20whp in that exhaust as well. I thought it already had long tubes. I would have loved to know what it gained from just e85

Im sorry man but I cannot help but read this and not think that you sound like the biggest hater of all hatters. How many lnf's have had to go in for "cylinder head tear down/cleaning" ? lmao

Not everyone has a tired a$$ h/c ls1 like you do. Lol

Your way out of line saying such things. Admit your $hits slow and move on to the garage and begin troubleshooting.

To me... that is NOTHING but biast opinions. Hate to say it but the MT82 puts the power down better then any Tremec in existance. They might be weaker, but there gearing is 10x that of the 6060s. That is NOT a biast opinion.

Carry on techers..
I can totally see that being possible, you won't get any dispute there from me. It's the guy with the tired Transam that cracks me up. The. 5.0 does run hard and that guy can shift pretty good. This is entertaining to say the least.

Unless that guy has about 200 lbs of weight reduction, the new 5.0 Mustang should be heavier than your 4th Gen.
