The reasons people like Redfire,Hio and others preach to take it to the track in threads where people argue on how fast a car is etc is that roll racing on the street is a poor way to determine how fast a car is. Too many variables on the street(engine temp,fuel levels etc..). Anything can happen on the street. But when people who have a chip on their shoulders etc say because of a few random encounters on the street is what a car runs is totally not realistic. Track is a controlled environment. The clocks don't lie 90 percent of the time. Some cars suck from a dig and are better from rolls-doesn't mean they suck. But when people post kills and then badmouthing the cars they beat(in terms of ET and power) then that is not right and almost laughable.
I can't count how many times I've seen guys get butthurt after a day at the track. Most who roll race a bunch of crappy drivers on the street think their car will trap whatever number only to hit the track and get a dose of reality. lol

I would much rather have a car that wins on the street than runs a glorious pass at the track and loses on the street to the slower car ( according to trap speeds and ets) which is what you guys live by.

I could care less honestly I have seen enough true h/c only fbodys run too know what they do at the track. We can just run what we bring.

Yes the intake and tb are abnormal-they suck lol. My 02s took a dump so no new times from last weekend. After that rear bumper support and light weight battery go on. After Hio inspects my EWP and Mamo 102 they go on. Should go 10s easy if it doesn't break anything. Traps maybe 122-124 not sure. Won't know till I run it. It needs to go on a diet very badly.

According to the dragstrip... that first car is faster then mine. The roll race is void.
And for the hell of it. G8 on the 75 shot. Id put money down his car is a lot faster then mine at the dragstrip

then you shouldnt have bought a zr1... Go down the track on street tires and let me know how you do. I think you will find that its performance at the track in bone stock trim does not do its highway speeds justice.

H/C exhaust converter. ls6 intake, 3.46 gear, stock wheels, street tires,... the list of stock is a lot longer then list of mods.

I like cars that performs on both ends. I don't like drag only cars because they sacrifice to much in ride and handling. I don't like roll cars because their power delivery sucks for most instances.
